Ok have to say I'm glad I didn't preorder a steam copy because sometimes my use of PC controls is...well shitty to be frank so in my requiring co-op levels I'd much prefer a controller.

But my speculation is this:
This will be the last part of the ARG, and when it's solved we'll probably get Portal 2 early.

Edit: Thoughh Row if you don't have a PS3 and have any interest in playing with the people from ffxiah i'd say dl steam because I dont think the 360 version will be cross platform.

Yar, My PC is hooked up to my 37" HD TV.
Then wireless mouse and keyboard like a boss.
And yeah, if you want to play with Steam buddies on the PC, get the PS3 version as it's cross plat.

me and my friend are gonna rock the co-op when he gets his copy, he got it for PS3 (since his PC can't run it) and I have it for PC, ***'s gonna be awesome.
I wonder if they'll have some sort of voice chat or you think that would be hard to do with it being cross platform?

The voice chat is done via Steam. It'll be there.
so you buy the ps3 version and get the pc version for free. would it then be possible to play co-op from the pc and ps3? or do you have to buy 2 copies of the game?

The voice chat is done via Steam. It'll be there.

You'd have to still buy 2 copies, because you sign into Steam on the PS3 and you wouldn't be able to sign into Steam on the PC without it signing you out on the PS3.
You know, it's nice that PS3 users get a free copy on the PC, but I really wish it would go the other way around also (just make portal 2 on PS3 a *** download? would be a bit big though)
