For what it lacks in gameplay, it certainly more than makes up for in score.
Uematsu will forever remain my musical hero.

Final Fantasy XIV is probably one of the greatest tragedies in modern gaming. Brilliant art, unrivaled score, ideas brimming with potential, all blocked by poor execution and two years worth of technical issues to be hammered out as of release. I haven't even been watching it to see how it's been shaping up during it's involuntary and indefinitely extended Beta.

And to contribute something (Youtube has been bluescreening me a lot lately, stupid Firefox) moar goofy Armored Core music.

Armored Core V Felt more like Front Mission, I miss being able to actually Fly.

The game kicks loads of *** too. Pretty much the posterchild for "PCgaming isn't dead". A budget of 800,000$ and less than two-dozen staff.

My favorite performance of this particular sequence.
The vocals are much more heartfelt, and the percussion seems to be much more timely and appropriate than others I have heard, including Distant Worlds' version. Anyways, enjoy~

That's a nice arrangement, I just don't like the English lyrics at all. In my opinion, it's a Japanese opera and should be performed in Japanese.

There's usually at least one thing I don't like about any particular arrangement of it, but Voices gets closest to perfect as I've found. It's also pretty cool they semi-act out the opera.

I close my eyes, only for a moment... j/k. kinda sounds like dust in the wind, but really for real, i love that game, was really good and had great music to go with it.

i dont remember seeing any of this posted yet...

tales of destiny is probably one of my top 5 favorite games ever, and the soundtrack is so badass for being so old, and still a 2d game.

It's here, and it is as amazing as it is beautiful.
Seriously, if you own a Wii, get this right now.

The ending theme for the first Mass Effect. It hasn't even been a year since I first beat it, but I actually get nostalgic whenever I hear it, it's crazy.

I get it stuck in my head just about every time I work out, too. And whenever it does it really picks me up and gives me a boost.

Pretty much everything Anamanguchi put out for this game is amazing. If you like what you hear, look into their other stuff. It's pretty rad.

It's a close call, but I think this is probably my favorite music from Skyrim. All the music is beautiful though, Jeremy Soule is a genius. Nine minutes of pure ear-bliss.

Oh, and hearing this song in any situation means something big is about to go down. Just the other night I was in Dyna-Qufim and this song came on, sure enough like three tigers aggro'd me, but I beat them mercilessly. This song brings on big fights, but (Latent effect: listener becomes invincible).
It's kind of like using a Primeval Brew, in that if your enemy isn't dead within three minutes (song is 3:17), you're screwed.
