Also; Alundra is one of the best games on the PS1 PERIOD.

I recently got a Family Computer (Japanese NES) and this game to go with it. I replaced the game cartridge roms with the english translated counterpart and am currently playing it. The cartridge has an chip that adds three sound channels to the three that already exist on the "NES". (Famicom) The same sound chip was used on the Japanese version of Castlevania III Dracula's Curse (Akumajou Densetsu). For those lucky enough to play the PS1 original, the first Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen. The dollmaker's music was always one of my favorites. (Skip the intro music)

Oddly enough, the first Clockwork Knight preceded PIXAR's "Toy Story" and SE's "Kingdom Hearts". :p For me, it would be this song here. I've listened to it on end for hours before.
I can't believe they left this out of the OST! D: I remember playing this game over and over when I was little, just grinding out levels and gold and never getting tired of this music :D Laughing is an important aspect of being the Overlord. Best video game soundtrack IMO. Sylph.Rogueleader

Remixed Zero's theme from Megaman X. Had a bad@$$ beat, and made you think, OSNAP, zero's guna lay down the smack. It's a shame they didn't use this theme for MVC3.
Star Ocean 2 battle theme <3
Heres one of my favs...
And a different version where its a bit more subdued I haven't actually played through this game, but only a few levels. I loved the ending theme here Any time I hear someone mention this game, this haunting melody pops in my head almost instantly This was my favorite temple in the game, specifically for this track. The Koume Sisters were also a fun fight, but something about this intense, haunting, and mysterious middle eastern style music just sent shivers up my spine every time I walk in. Not to mention the warp song to get there is equally amazing. This almost motivates me enough to consider making plans to see the Zelda Symphony concert premiering in Los Angeles sometime this October :3 I fell in love with this when I first heard it in the trailer, but I kept thinking how familiar it sounded. Later it was revealed to be an orchestration of Zelda's Lullaby in reverse, and somehow that made me love it more. Zelda's Lullaby is a beautiful song, and will always remain a big part of my game music collection. The song below has to be one of the most amazing emotional trips I've ever experienced... (Though I think the original singer from the game is a little better) I was very disappointed that I couldn't make it to Otakon/Distant Worlds this year. Who doesn't remember Nanaki ( Red XIII ) "dancing" :) |
