Can You Dig It?

Been spending some time chocobo digger raising since I already made a racer. Also been doing the Hot and Cold game.

I have dug and dug and dug and dug for the H&C game in the Valkurm and Buburimu areas, which if you win 10 of each is supposed to give you a Desert Chocograph from Valkurm and a Jungle Chocograph from Buburimu.

I've done them both so many times, I have to have found 10 chests or more in each.

I do however pick up my TJ grass from whomever's town I happen to be at when I pass the stables. Also I might not have done the wins sequentially, and definitely not in succession.

Anyone have any insights on this? Wikia is useless for such specific info regarding the rules for getting the upper chocographs.

Just keep H&Cing in the same area every day until you get the next chocograph. Maybe you mistakenly counted how many times you successfully dug up the treasure.
