Kind of a cool idea... but I think using the standard parser would still beat out any such damage calculator.
Reasoning behind this statement consists of a parser giving real-time data while in actual use in-game, whereas a damage calculator does not.
Behind this theory, a standard parser by default accomodates for level correction and pDIF. Whereas a damage calculator like the one you're describing does not, as it runs off your character's statistics only and not of the mobs in which you're fighting.
Not to mention a calculator like you've desribed would be totally useless for determining magic damage.
standard magic, Blue Magic, physical damage, WS damage, and spikes damage are all calculated differently. Each calculation is much more complicated than just the stats on your character... and for anyone "serious" about getting proper data shouldnt be interested in basically half-assing it with a crappy dmg calculator. Parse it, or dont bother.
