I REALLY wish I could learn Japanese...especially considering how obsessed I am with their pop culture. Need to find a good way to go about it. Might take a few classes when I get around to finishing my degree too, lol.
Its always funny when people bring up the common misconception thats its easy for Chinese and Japanese to communicate together when in actuality its a linguistic nightmare. x_x;

I LEARNED SOMETHING TODAY! 6am + training booklets/videos = lack of concentration due to trying not to fall asleep! But otherwise I can tell I'ma like it. ^^

lol yea, it's sooo different. XD Knowing Chinese is definitely a huge advantage though; even if I don't know how to read a certain kanji in Japanese, I at least know what it means.^^

Cool cool, hopefully you guys find a good place! Get ready to spend some big bucks for rent! I stayed with a friend for awhile in a converted garage storage room. He payed $900/month and you could all at one time be standing in the kitchen/bathroom/livingroom/bedrooom. It was tinnnnny!
