Hey yall. I have returned on an information gathering mission: So how is level 80 treating you? What's the general deal of Abyssea? Did anyone else nab a 14 beta spot (I did and I wish my computer would run it.)?

Hiyas, long time no see ! ^^

I only just bought Abyssea today and had kind of a crappy pt there, but basically it's a place where you have ridiculously good xp/merit parties as an alliance. Each mob drops xp, 'cruor,' and sometimes chests. The cruor is used to buy all sorts of stuff - from gear to buffs and temporary items. There are NMs - some force spawn and some not - as well as quests in each of the 3 currently available areas. You have a limit on the amount of time you can spend inside, but it can be rather easily (and indefinitely) extended with time chests that mobs drop. You can get some nice stuff.^^

And as for FFXIV, talk to Oum about that one. :D

Oh really? Abyssea sounds better than I first feared it would be, thank goodness. I've been on the fence a little while about whether or not I wanted to come back and try it out, the thing is I don't think I'd want to go back to Odin.

I thought about it, but I think any action is pending a successful job search, first off. It's kind of a pain, but I've been trying to get into better shape so that I can apply to one of the metroplex PDs. I'm a bit nervous about it, now, but I think by the time I'm ready it'll be all good. Unfortunately, I think that even if offered a position I will still need a temporary job to fill the space between now and the time when training starts. I need a lot of good luck, right now.

But, it's nice to know that someone will have me, huh?

The weird part is, that cat used to hate anyone but me touching him, after I had her, he became her buddy basically, she could sit on him, lay on him, attempt to pick him up [hes 40lbs, shes 30, shes not carrying him anytime soon] and everything else and he lets her, he even has her meowing -.-, because being a Siamese, he likes to talk, now she meows right back at him.

You can have her! She looks adorable, but shes trouble.
