How is being gay in Russia?

Where I live in CA, we have a lot of Russian immigrants, and they are sooooooooooooo homophobic. They are known to be very violent towards the gays here. We always avoid them at all cost. I always wondered what peoples attitudes in Russia were like towards the gay community there.

well yeah...russians are very homophobig..very..very..did i said only two times?...veeeeeeeery But i never meet with someone who hate they in real life..all my friends know about me they support me .. they can sometimes toss funny jk about gays but meh i love them they love me.. im happy i should be a men first.. and i like guys who act like real mens...GALKA!!!!!!!!!

Totally random aside, the Russian national anthem (the new one, which is actually the old one) gets stuck in my head ridiculously easy. But then again, I'm a sucker for Russian chorus because I'm a bass, and they tend to be bass-heavy.

The spirit wolf thing is a trait of the warriors in the tribe Jacob is from. They physically become wolves. The trait remains dormant, except in the presence of vampires. If the Cullens hadn't been living around Jacob and his friends, they wouldn't have the ability to become wolves.
