Guess I should explain this seemingly random outburst. Just had to spend an hour waiting in line and talking to a lady with poor English because Delta canceled the last leg of my China/Korea/Atlanta/Birmingham flight marathon and refused to give me any sort of compensation aside from a ticket the next day, which is not helpful to me at all. They apparently need more than 2 hours to get my bags back to me, and after aaaaall of that bs, the rep has the nerve to suggest that I took up too much of her time by refusing the useless next-day ticket she tried to give me. Really lady? Really? I started my day at 3:30am China time, took a boat and 2 planes to get here, and you blame ME because your company *** up and YOU don't wanna do your job? I really just don't even.
I was able to get ONE of my two bags back after waiting FIVE hours. They randomly sent the other bag to Alabama. The best part was that the whole bag situation could have been avoided if the goddamn flight status screen had been before the baggage recheck area. I got off my international flight, found my bags, rechecked them, and walked literally 20 feet away into the next room when I discovered that the flight was canceled. GREAT AIRPORT DESIGN GAIZ.
