anyone here ever been waxed before? i'm hairy and i absolutely hate it ;; so i might go in and get a full body wax >_> im not worried about the pain, ive just heard you can break out really bad from it, or that it hardly lasts any amount of time. i grow hair everywhere and pretty fast, i really don't want to shell out 300$ for 1-week of smoothness...

It really depends on your skin type, I get my brows and chest waxed every month and really the first time the pain was teh suck but im used to it now. I had a buddy who just got his brows waxed and he broke out bad so it really depends on your own skin type.

Yes. Ok u actually dont break out from the waxing itself. When a wax is done, they will put vitamin E oil on the area(its to help heal the skin since u basically ripped the top layer off) it's the oil that causes the break out.

Also Waxing is progressive. Everytime u wax the hair grows back finer and takes longer to grow back. Waxing provides the longest lasting hair removal(with the exception of laser removal)

Waxing the chest,back or legs is fine. Its not painful. Just make sure u use some type of deep-pore cleaning wash b4 the end of the day, this will prevent breakouts. (Cetaphil and Purpose work best u can get those at CVS/Walgreens/Ralphs...) Anything in the erogenous region, Id recommend Nair or shaving.

Nair works just as good it just doesn't last as long, and u need to remove it ASAP so u dont chemically burn urself.

i like hair anyways, so shaving anywhere that isnt my face is a big no for me =S

I really don't like back or facial hair, but anywhere else is ok as long as it's kept neat. :D

Did u use Nair for Men or Women. The women's is a lot gentler i've found. But shaving is just as good ive found.
