When I talk to my cousin that's my age that lives there, I always make sure to tell him I hate him for his accent.

We have a Scotsman in my LS on XIV, and its like half the guys melt when he hops on skype and we hear his voice, lol.

How is XIV doing, in your opinion?

I prefer XIV over XI for the time being. After having stepped back and taken a look at how XI has progressed ever since Abyssea, it just doesn't really appeal to me anymore. I've hit the point where I'm not willing to put the time and effort needed into upgrading gear and weapons nearly every update.

SE is notorious for making old content obsolete and the incoming updates to Nyzul and Salvage only look to be another time sink, something I truly do not want to get into.

While XIV is lacking severely in content, the game has come a long way since its official release just over a year ago. There are still some glaring problems (MP-cost balancing and a number loot-related issues on primal fights) but in all honesty I can overlook them for now because the people I play with still manage to make the game enjoyable. I feel much more at home playing it because I feel like I can accomplish something without having to spend hours on end devoting all that energy to something like Voidwatch (Logwatch really) where I only have a fraction of a percentage at even getting something useful. The system is far too similar to that of the primal fights in XIV which is probably why I despise it so much.

The job system is due to come out some time in February and so far is looks promising (particularly excited about WAR and DRG.) While a lot of people are eating up what YoshiP has been promising for 2.0, I'm still going into is as a skeptic. Although I will admit that firing Tenaka (we all know he didn't "step down" willingly) and putting YoshiP in charge was the best decision they've made thus far for XIV. Hes delivered on nearly every single promise, save for server-related issues that can't really be helped since the structure is absolutely abysmal, and I have no doubt that he will do what he can to make sure the game succeeds post 2.0.

I just remember beta being dreadful. Everyone who complained about how bad it was was shouting into a vacuum. I'm so glad that things are looking better, though.

I love how after helping with god knows how many Emps (one of which was for someone's Assault Jerkin-wearing mule), my turn rolls around and everyone mysteriously disappears. .__.

I actually think XIV has come a long way. I dont play it as much as I would like but it is a much better game than it was for sure. They just need to fine tune a few more things (which they are) and it will be an AMAZING game.

Did it happen to be an Ochain or a Harp? :P

Oh man, I know all about spending too much on work out things lol. I had a very bad trap due to a long-buildling RSI. My strength coach/personal trainer alone costs hundreds of dollar a week. Its insane!

I wouldn't bother with the lance. From what I've been reading, the TotM lance and the new WS (Stardiver?) already do better. You'd just be making it for the aftermath. :\

Oh please...Egg white are all that you really need for the protein! I love yolks, but I've had to avoid them because you can't have yolks w/o bread...and I don't eat wheat; ;

But man...the best breakfast in the morning is an egg pizza...now I know that sounds weird...but trust me, its amazing. It's kind of like breakfast burritos. The egg is used as the base of the pizza instead of the bread. Its kind of like a pizza/omelet hybrid. Pure. Bliss.

Come to Asura, I'd help >.> I love my friends dearly, but I helped make at least 2 Empy's for each and then everyone quit, they did help a little with mine, but my LS helped the most.
