Strippers make decent money on the whole, to be honest.
I have a friend who got an Electrical Engineering degree, then moved to California and became a stripper because it paid better.

mmhmmm, One of my classmates worked in one for a couple weeks (at the bar or something not as a stripper,) and she pulled 200 in tips one night and the strippers get more then that. I asked her to hook me up with a part time job but she said my lack of real boobs would be an issue XD
