SUPER COOL STOREH TIEMZ. 8D
So I decide to head out to Altepa to solo some Dominion Ops for my dualboxed pocket WHM. Sat down, put in a movie, and went to work. There was no one there when I started and it was smooth sailing for quite some time. I eventually picked up a few Lv.40-something Japanese peeps who needed some xp. From there, I gradually accumulated an alliance of (mostly pink-clad) freeloaders who periodically invited more of their friends along to poke my mobs for insignificant amounts of damage. All cool with me. Then some guy starts demanding that I drop afk people, which I explained that I would be happy to do if there were actually people waiting for a spot and we didn't already have room for a couple. Much nagging later, I was officially welcomed into the high class world known as Shiva:I think it would've been mean of me to tell him he wasn't being any more useful than those afk people. Or to tell him how ridiculous his fulltime Perle *** sounded when he talked about being "old school." Honestly, I had more meaningful conversations with the Japanese people - and I have the proficiency level of an elementary school student. XD But yea, next time I don't think I'll try to share. <__< My time was steadily increasing until those clowns showed up anyway. .__. At least if I'm a recluse I can stay in the zone forever. :D Perfect skin doesn't exist.
Hohen you're still sexyness. :D Fenrir.Stiklelf said: » Perfect skin doesn't exist. It really comes down to this (at least to me), if someone judges you on such a petty thing as acne, then they are not really worth being around.
I'm just bitchy when it comes to this kinda thing. Like really who cares. It's not like it makes you less of a person. /rant Fenrir.Stiklelf said: » It really comes down to this (at least to me), if someone judges you on such a petty thing as acne, then they are not really worth being around. It's not like it makes you less of a person. /rant i guess, but i mean, it's frustrating when you can't do anything about it. tried everything and nothing seems to help. i should be able to get rid of it if i want..i mean i should be able to be good looking for myself :< Alexander.Carrelo said: » I've said it before I'll say it again, perfect people are boaring. But if you can't get rid of it what good is it to stress yourself out about it?
The way I live myself is pretty much broken down into this, if I find something disagreeable nothing says I can't change how I feel about it. Things are only negative because that's how you perceive them to be. I'm sure that way of thinking doesn't work for everyone, but I'm much happier thinking along those lines :P Fenrir.Stiklelf said: » But if you can't get rid of it what good is it to stress yourself out about it? I'm sure that way of thinking doesn't work for everyone, but I'm much happier thinking along those lines :P i know what you mean, but logic doesn't always work all the time for everything. i mean if it were so, i think a lot of people would just kill themselves because there really is no grander purpose to existence, yet we carry on anyway, ya know? The purpose of existence is to exist. At least to me.
I'm going to go to bed. I don't want to turn this topic into something so serious. It's just something I feel strongly about. No one will team up with me for the pitchfork quest ;-;

Ooh, acne discussion. Zits and blemishes are persistent little shits; they come and go pretty much at random. I'm gonna serve up a little copypasta from a conversation I had with someone else on this topic.^^
The most powerful solution of which I am aware is a drug called Acutane. It is prescribed in cases of VERY severe acne, also called nodular acne. It is most likely overkill for your run-of-the-mill everyday zits. Aside from being pretty expensive, Acutane is known to cause anxiety and depression - I wouldn't recommend it unless a dermatologist tells you that you have nodular acne. I've never used it. Next up - and something I actually have used - is a topical treatment called Retin-a. It's essentially a killer dose of Vitamin A that you apply directly to your face (although I've used it on my back as well). Retin-a has a few drawbacks as well. First off, it's very expensive and may require a prescription. It also feels like rubbing acid on your face - it burns like hell until you get used to it (maybe after a few months) and badly dries your skin. The dryness isn't much of a problem if you use it in conjunction with Cerave moisturizing lotion (some lotions interfere with Retin-a; Cerave does not). What Retin-a does is cause your skin to very rapidly exfoliate. This exfoliation is very healthy for the skin, BUT it also leaves you extremely vulnerable to sunburn, which of course leads to skin cancer. I stopped using Retin-a because I'm planning to start tanning more, but if you don't spend too much time in the sun it does an excellent job of clearing up acne. Another option is a prescription antibiotic like Doxycyclene Hyclate, which fights the acne from the inside. I currently take 100mg of Doxycyclene twice a day (once in the morning, once at night) - it has a noticeable effect. Like any antibiotic, you should wait 1 hour after taking the pill before you eat anything. Alternatively, you can wait 2 hours AFTER you eat and then take the pill (this is what I do; antibiotics on an empty stomach can make you feel very sick). Also don't take antibiotics if you're planning to drink alcohol in the next 12 hours or so - it's not dangerous, but the alcohol will render your antibiotic useless (what a waste!). Finally, there are also acne-fighting soaps you can buy at pretty much any pharmacy. I use one called PanOxyl; it's 10% benzoyl peroxide. You can use it pretty much anywhere as long as you don't get it in your eyes or mouth. Like Retin-a, it will also dry your skin out (which is why you need a good moisturizing lotion), but it's not as powerful. I don't think it's possible to completely rid yourself of acne, but you can at least suppress it until it's more tolerable. I've slowly managed to clear up my face, but every so often a zit or two will pop up. It just takes patience.^^ I've done tetracyclines and they didn't do anything for me :< same with benzyoyl peroxide (which apparently also stimulates the development of free-radicals which causes aging and cancer?). I've heard acutane can work, but it looks like it just messes up your body so much. I'm using a thing with retin-a in it atm. Seems to work-ish?
But yeah, I've pretty much given up on the pharmaceuticals, lot of bs in my opinion. Haaaayyy all ^^!!! how is everyone doing tonight? @_@?!

I would not recommend Accutane at all. tl;dr my experience with Accutane was terribad. Imma stick with foundation kthx. Retin-A has a decent success rate and I never had any problems with it. It just never worked for me. Carbuncle.Hanbok said: » Haaaayyy all ^^!!! how is everyone doing tonight? @_@?!
