I have a bunch of these brown spiders in my home, are they deadly?
I have a bunch of these brown spiders in my home, are they deadly?
My boyfriend is scared shitless of them and he says theyre deadly and poisonous, i dont believe him, he exaggerates a lot. I live in south florida and im thinking theyre just common house spiders of florida. Ive checked online and havent found one that looks like this one. help?
Daddy Long Legs are not deadly lol.

They are about the size of a quarter
the top one only has 7 legs, clear indication of its venomousity

Those look like the type I saw in the bay area california when I was living there. No matter how many I killed I'd always have like 5 in my apartment at any given time -.-
Maybe the top one is missing a leg? and i took all of these pictures about 30 minutes ago. They are always hiding in the pantry, dark places, ive seen a few in the bathroom too.

Unless your boyfriend is about 1/4" tall, he should be ok. But I sympathize with him on the fear of those little ***.

i googled deadly/poisonous spiders of south florida and went through a list of 40ish spiders and did not find the one i have. and the one i have doesnt look like a recluse
they look like daddy long legs to me, not sure if that is the correct name for those spiders but thats what we call them up north. I can't say for sure thats what they are because most of the ones I remember seeing have kinda fat bodies. I dont think I have seen or paid attention to seeing one in years though so I could be mistaken on that, if you dont like them hanging around smash em with a flip flop or something

highly higly doubt its a recluse, had one of those BIG *** on my back pack one morning when me and some friends used to camp out over night at the dunes off lake michigan. Those *** are huge! lols
