Seismic Axe Latent

I just go this GA last night in Beadeaux [S] SCNM and been trying to figure out the trigger for the latent.

So far I've tried:

WS on Earthday
Yellow HP (On earthday)
Tried 100, 200, & 300% TP
Tried with /NIN
Tried daytime and night

I'm still gonna try other things later tonight.

Anyone else been trying? Or any ideas? Someone told me to have Titan summoned out....... I thought it was ridiculous for that idea for a GA but eh its SE.

Maybe try while slowed?

Since slow is earth-based and all.

Perhaps try in campaign or the past in general, as opposed to other zones.

you've probably already tried it, but find a Scholar friend and have them use Sandstorm on you (for earth weather effect, as opposed to Earthday) and maybe also with/without Allied Tags?

Or maybe try comparing the damage with another GA, maybe the WS damage enhancement works like the sea gorgets?

Well I will try a few of those suggestions, a ls mate said to try on rabbits for more accurate ws dmg. I did think of the sea gorget but I'll have to get the earth based gorget first :/

It's a free day today so I'll try it in campaign tonight since i guess it would make sense since the weapon is from the past.

Maybe it only works when using Soil Gorget? Just a thought, id try if i had the Axe since i have Soil.

Somehow "Necro bump" seems inadequate.

kind of old news, but wasn't it found to be like the assault point weapons? where it'll proc. 100% in certain situations, but can randomly proc. outside of preq.s?

I remember reading on Wiki the latent used to work while using King's Justice and Steel Cyclone weaponskills but as I went back to check this info has been removed.
Have you treid to make a Skillchain out of your WS? It could be linked or similar somehow to the Sea gorgets like Jessiica said.

Latent effect

* Active when using any Weapon Skill with a Skillchain attribute of Scission (and, by extension, Gravitation)

So basically it works for King's Justice and some low level weaponskill that would be a sin to use.

Or were you only talking bout the Soil gorget?
