A couple of people in my linkshell have taken 5 jobs from 1-75 smn burning. Averages out to 3-4 days per job at a relaxed pace.

Dam I wish I knew some people to burn /dnc and /rng to 37 probably can be done in a day lol /sigh some people have all the luck XD

LMAO yeah thats sad they could atleast skill up with all the time they saved. Same thing with people who lv sync in the (s)East R. till 75 lol.

Actually I'm happy you posted, I've been slowly leveling jobs in hoping to one day reach the Maat's cap goal myself, and just like you I've so far struggled the most on DRK maat and am terrified of RDM Maat ....

I haven't done RDM Maat yet, and have even brought up to a friend that they log in as me and beat it for me :P

But alas, I'll probably cave in and give it a try.... I'm so scared!

I haven't done THF Maat yet, but I'm excited to try that one out because I have a relic weapon to use to my advantage :) Should be fun :D

RDM 75 with at least competent gear is probably head-and-shoulders above trying to do it at RDM 66 or RDM 70. Merit a couple enfeebles and some potency and really tear into him if you're worried. Or do like a RDM from Fairy, and RDM melee his ***, 1/1. 8D

Congrats on the hat, Zanno. Sounds like you really tried to earn it instead of cheating it with burns. I tip my inferior Wyvern Helm to you.

Why ***on SMN burning? Its not the reason people are coming gimp people are becoming gimp because they are lazy. Burning is the same as lv sync at 37 or do BLM burn sync's ect... until you hit 75 really no diff. Mind you still have to skill up and Quest WS for the job and for those who burned can always do C.battle and Fov with friends and ls to learn how to play the job after burning. So you can't put down the method put down the player who invests no effort to bring their burned player up to performance.

My experience with SMN burners is that they never bother to put in the time to be any good at a job once they have burned it. I would never level a job to 75 if I didn't intend to play it and play it well.

Besides, I watched my LS give Herald's Gaiters to a SMN burned SMN with one avatar and gear in five slots max over several deserving mages who never get jack from endgame.

This seems like a pretty farfatched and extreme example as if we arent getting all of the information.

If it is true your animosity should be towards your leaders favoritism not towards someone smn burning.

I let a friend play my character in Einherjar that night, then dropped my pearl when I logged on the next morning. I quit the game entirely not long after that. I'd like to come back, but only to a respectable endgame shell (i.e. one that awards loot honestly and treats its members like trusted friends rather than intense rivals). Since that doesn't exist on Siren, I am staying retired.

That same LS did award the next few pairs to deserving members, but I think it had more to do with the storm stirred up over that particular pair than any feelings of altruism or honesty. They went back to old habits after that.

The LS itself is gone now. Leadership told everyone they were quitting, then jumped ship to Leviathan server and started an LS called TheBlueprint. Mind you, this was six months after I quit, and in that time the LS leader managed to pick up two more relics for himself and assorted other goodies including a pair of gaiters. As if someone with four melee relics is ever going to use mage speed shoes...

On an unrelated note...Gogo quitting with Odin access ><!

I have had some experience with burning. About 4 days ago I was in Basty with my LVL12 BLM. I got a tell asking if I would like 45K xp in a half an hour. I was like how and HELL YA!!! I get all my new jobs to LVL10 because all my L.S. friends like to sync to me. I has nevered bothered me because I still lVL/ skill up. Back to the story though. This dude asked to meet him in the tunnels and I would love it. I asked some folk in my LS what was going on?? They said just do it so I did. In less than 30 mins I went from LVL 12 to LVL 24. I was like wow!! They asked if I had anymore jobs at LVL 12. I said no but I can have 5 jobs at LVL12 real quick. They gave me a link pearl and said please let them know if I would like to burn them. I was like sure and thank you!!! Now for the bad part. I was all happy because I was able to learn some better spells. Got the spells and headed to the dunes to try them out. To my dismay they were hitting for less than double digits. I freaked!!!And ran alot, LOL. My L.S. told me I may have LVLed up, but not skilled up. Needless to say I went to the highlands and spent the next two hours nuking everything in sight. I skilled up though. Lesson learned!!!
