Totally addicted to this song, was like cool, a new artist, was pumped to listen to some more stuff from Gotye, but just couldn't get into it.
These guys sure know how to make some oddly disturbing music videos...
yeahYeah I saw that too. Do you like it? Sadly, as much as I want to like his solo stuff because I LOVE the Raconteurs, I just can't get into him as much. I mean, his music isn't bad, just not my cup of tea I guess.
I'm liking his new one so far, but I do like his solo stuff a lot already too. Compared to his last one, there's a bit more depth to the progressions and some more expressive melodies/synth lines, giving it a Lapalco/AL-esque sound. Then on top there's a distinctly Raconteurs-y feel with some bluegrass overtones in places, akin to consoler of the lonely.. so this one might better suit you, not sure really~ but it's worth a listen!
