As far as current events, politics, etc, I really didn't care much about it until I became a homeowner and got a professional job. It really angers me to see how much of my money is siphoned away for no reason. I'm a conservative and I resent being called a lazy land owning bum skimming off the top. I get paid for 40 hours of work but probably spend 60 hours+ working. I'm on the road... a lot, I drive 3-4k a month easy. I maybe get to be in my home that I pay for half the month. Then I get taxed 40% on my bonus check for busting my butt?! Then maybe...after a full year I get my money back in the form of a tax refund and I'm supposed to be happy? Thats bull crap. I worked hard at school, "fish wrangled" (worked on a fish farm) and scrubbed 55 gallon drums filled with nasty algae in the hot sun, then moved got a job at a retail store, climbed the ladder there but always rolled up my sleeves and never thought I was too good for any task even though I was college educated. I finally made the leap to a salaried professional job with health benefits. Now I'm going to have to help pay for someone else's insurance? Bull crap. Anyways, say what you will, i'm sure many of you have had much much harder paths in life. But thats my 2 cents on that.

Really get rid of this topic because it bothers you? If it bothers you why is your response on the third page? It bothers me and it should be banned but I read it anyway. Seriously just don't click on it and read it, go on to reading about crafting or leveling or about stuff going on your respective server. I'd hate to say it but thats 1 of 2 tactics that seem to be running rampant in Washington right now. Call them racist, terrorist, bigots, w/e, or say its Bush's fault. Not saying the other sde isn't guilty of this, just saying whats going on in Washington in general right now.

Also remember Roosevelt gave us that wonderful social security system that seems to be sailing along well huh? You can also thank him for the pay roll tax. It is also argued that WW2 had a much higher impact on turning our economy around than anything Roosevelt did. While it is true he started turning around the economy during the beginning of his first term, there was a second depression after his policies became implemented. I personally would not praise Roosevelt 2 on his domestic economic policies and would stick to his skills on handling ww2.

Obama reminds me in some respects to Andrew Jackson, minus the Indian Killing and being a war hero. Jackson was voted in as the people's president, his inaugaration was crazy, people even stormed the white house, had a crazy party, and trashed the white house xD. He was viewed as grabbing way too much power and controlling way too much. He felt he was the will of the people, so if he thought it was right, it must also be the will of the people. He said he wasn't politics as usual, but was contrary behind the scenes.

Why not just open a few topics in the mage forums, post how people's gear is *** (similar to what you ended up doing here it seems), which would then in turn make everybody click on your profile to see your ***gear. Voila, mission accomplished.
