What to lookout for coming to Shiva?
Exactly what the question says What should I lookout for coming to this server?

I honestly can't say anything bad about this server. I was on it for 2 and a half years before moving to Gilga, and was very close to moving back when I could.
While I was there, people were friendly and helpful. Of course there's always gunna be some people who aren't. But I'd say in general most were. Good to get missions done. Good for leveling, decent for endgame. I'm not sure about the population as of now, obviously.
If Shiva is how it was then, now. I'd definitely say it's worth going to. Hopefully you'll get responses from people currently on it.
Edit; One thing you might not like if you're not used to it is Casino shouts. There was at least 5 on Shiva at one point. It keeps WG pretty active with shouts.

Shiva's pretty nice. After I quit the game a few years ago, my RL friends who were on Shiva kept asking me to come back to the game and transfer to their server. I finally did it and haven't looked back.
The only "drama" you'd find is in HNM, but that can be said about any server.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you looking to transfer to Shiva? Seems kind of out of place. Other than maybe joining some friends, I can't see why you'd target that server out of all of them.

For instance, Siren is statistically the best server, so we get a lot of new people transferring here all the time. Lakshmi is statistically the second best, so I'm sure they get the same. And of course Asura is statistically the worst. Shiva just seems like a kind of in-the-middle server.
