FFXIAH Server Update 2026

Pardon our dust!

We recently migrated to new servers to replace hardware and software that were several years out of date. We run a few servers for different things (the main website, the Auction House data stream, Guildwork, and replication), so moving things around took some doing.

The cut-over to the main site went mostly fine. Most of the early problems people reported were DNS propagation (browsers still pointing at the old server until things updated).

A few days in, the application crashed due to a hard drive failure. We had redundancy, but the RAID degraded enough to make things unstable, so we moved to another replacement server. That's what you're on now, and it's been running well so far.

Fixes I've pushed:

- AH sales were being skipped, should be corrected
- Nodes/item search was erroring out, should be fixed
- Missing tooltips and icons, mostly fixed

Little to no user data was lost. If you spot anything still broken, post it here.

The database is super borked like 20k bodies vanished

Shopping tab, messages

I've had it claiming I have a new DM since the issues the other day, but clicking it just loads a page with Application Error on it. Appreciate you guys keeping the show running all these years!

Lots of application errors around the members menu
- clicking any of these bazar, wanted, merits, atma, abyssite, voidwatch, shopping and assaults
- attempting to edit an item set
- Trying to access Inbox.

Fixed:

- Item set editing (/members/item-sets)
- Atma page (/members/atma)
- Mbox folder view (/mbox-s, /mbox)

Shopping should be fixed.
Database is more complicated, I will look into it.

Thanks for all the work you guys do. I have no doubt it can be exhausting at times.
