Can't trade Alabaster Matter to the Temenos Furnace

-I have Temenenos verification key
-I have done several full runs including opening the chest at the end
-I click on the furnace and it says "You are authorized to use Temenos Units"

Anything I am missing?

The alabaster matter you have is from login, or is it from the chest? The first time you open the chest you are guaranteed one alabaster matter, and unlocks the ability to make the gear.

Just Alabaster Matter. Trading Alabaster Matter by itself. I have to do a new full climb to obtain from the chest before I can trade to the furnace?

Yep, you have to obtain it from the chest before you can make one. It was in the patch notes from a recent update.

I meant to say I have done full runs in the past and opened the chest, I have NOT done a full run and open a chest and getting Alabaster Matter. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

You get a matter 100% on first full clear.

...So the trigger to get the gear or upgrade it from the furnace is you have to have obtained a matter from the chest at the end of a run and not login points? Seems kind of weird (interesting) to make that game event a requirement before the furnace gives you the dialogue, given that they are now offering it for free. The logical thing a new player who has never done any climbs would would do would be to trade the matter to the furnace to get the items.

But why would you not farm chests. Even if you arent doing 10x a week, are you just sitting at 30k cap and botfarming units to upgrade af/relic you dont use???


Theres gonna be a lot of pissy people when the ugly white AA sets costs more than the 30k cap they have available to them.
