#FES Dial Key Guide & Findings (Post Your Results)

GUIDE:
We got our #FES dial key from the K-10 Moogle in Windurst Woods.

Blackmageviper got it instantly just by speaking to the moogle so I guess he already did that christmas event before in earlier years.

Personally I had to go just outside to east sarutabaruta and destroy astral boxes which are just outside to get Bell-themed gift token key items and then return to the moogle for a dream bell, repeat for a dream robe and then the 3rd time I returned to the moogle with a Bell-themed gift token key item then I got a #FES dial key

Warviper: Scroll of Protectra IV
Blackmageviper: Slice of lynx meat

Mule1: Cup of healing tea
Mule2: Ten of swords card

For alts you should be able to start the Giftgiving event (with the Smilebringers) to get a key.

Steps:
Buy a Dream Hat from the in town Moogle vendor for 10,000 gil
Equip Dream Hat
Speak to Smilebringer. gives 'Present for the kiddies' (kiddie present)
Trade the kiddie present to a child NPC in the zone
-in game message "You've brought barrelfuls of joy to the children of Vana'diel!"
Teleport to another city via Smilebringer
#FES key is placed in inventory prior to zoning.

Flame of crimson rancor
Little Worm belt
Cluster of Startling Memories
Legshard: WHM
Snowy Rolanberry
Lenitive Abjuration: Head
Shaman Garlic

Seems very SP Gobbie Key-ish.

My results have been in line with Linsivi's - mostly trash. Got a Headshard: SAM and a Hadean body abj for a lockstyle, I guess. I suspect I won't make back the 10k I spent for alts to get the hat.

You can send the Dream Hat to alts on the same account, so you only need one dream hat per account.

You don't need to spend the 10k to get the key I got it from smashing the astral boxes outside bastok markets for the KI took a few attempts but all got the key within turning in the KI 3ish times a little bit of running back and forth but cost nothing.
