It specifically applies to pets. No idea if that changes any BiS slots for pet jobs.

Asura.Vyre said: » Also do my eyes deceive me? Does the MNK/BST/DNC etc. set just straight up say, "Damage Dealt +%?" As in, all damage you deal? All of the time? o.o! All damage your pet deals, yes. It's the same thing on nyame body/legs D
Not even as good on the new gear Cerberus.Dekar said: » It specifically applies to pets. No idea if that changes any BiS slots for pet jobs. For BST/PUP its generally the best in the slot it's provided, for SMN they keep putting BPD off of those pieces so more of a grey area there Empy aftermath got a nice boost.
Oh boy, more minor item text errors that they won't try to fix until the day after Return to Vanadiel ends, so that they can have an excuse to kick us free-play bums off after it ends. Right?
These new limbus sets are just about the ugliest thing I've ever seen. They almost make blurple nyame and malignance look good. But through the magic of the internets and some kitty glamour (but really just some model viewer updates and dat swaps) I've compiled some screenshots of the sets in game for your viewing (dis??) pleasure.
Interestingly enough there is a new weskit model I found that i have no idea where it comes from. Chronologically it was added to the game files after the prishe boots but before the new limbus gear. It doesn't appear to be NPC armor either. There's a version for all the race/gender combos. Does anyone know what this set is? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
Quote: It's the ilm body from login guy Didn't know they added that to login points. Somehow I missed that. Gonna buy that set right now! It actually looks quite good. Thanks! Only the body is login the other stuff is other stuff.
Fall festival stuff. Dammit, I missed the memo when the pumpkin event was running. I'll hafta make a mental note to get it next year then. They typically put the gear on offer when they repeat the event in following years. I missed the hebenus set the first go around and had to grab it this past summer festival too. Thanks for the info eiryl. I appreciate it. The set looks pretty killer for a mage glam.
Check curio moogle, they may have added the halloween event pieces there.
If you have the items from the curator moogle recipe you might be able to trade still, I think.
I know that Hoxne items where introduced in November's update, but I picked up my FES Gobbie Key, while wearing a Dream Hat, then I traded 8 SP Gobbie Keys to a gobbie box and got a Hoxne Ampulla:
I suspect that new items like this have a slightly higher rate of incidence than much later on ...but who knows for sure? Maybe it's christmas related? I honestly have no idea...
That's cool that the Hoxne Ampulla was added to the gobbie box

Lakshmi.Buukki said: » when SE puts new items in the game, the rate of acquisition skyrockets shortly after release OK, I thought so. My initial thought around this was when Dynamis Divergence shards/voids came out. They were EX for 3-4 months and then when SE removed the EX tag, they were showing up from various sources of RNG. I generally think this is to either stimulate the economy or player engagement. Maybe there's other reasons too, but I think this works. Anyway, thanks for confirming! When those god damn shards were newnew they were literally half the pops from keys. So annoying.
Never any good ones obviously. dancer. ninja. darknight. The floor ate well. Now, I might get 1 in 100 800 SP keys used last week, no ampulla/hoxne in general.
got 2 of the new NQ cursed items and 1 of the mats though Do items have a higher load rate when they're added to the game or do people just burn through their stash of gobbie keys when new items are added?
Carbuncle.Nynja said: » Do items have a higher load rate when they're added to the game or do people just burn through their stash of gobbie keys when new items are added? I have 15 mules, and never used SP gobbie key as it was a waste, so last week I used 180 keys (Deeds) * 15 = 2700 keys.
Did get 2 Hoxne Rings, I kept one, sold one, 5 new mats which have not sold cause my price is 100m, 3 nq pieces selling for 20m a piece. Carbuncle.Nynja said: » Do items have a higher load rate when they're added to the game or do people just burn through their stash of gobbie keys when new items are added? There's speculation that when something new is added, it drops from gobbie boxes at a slightly higher rate, to get it out in the wild and get people to, uhm, crave it. It's all speculation and it's impossible to gather enough data to say if it's true or not with any actual statistical confidence. Probably would've been possible for shards, since they composed such a large percentage of reward items. Shouldn't need more than a couple thousand spins before/after to be confident it changed.
Never gonna happen for Hoxne. idk if rank 30 is actually reachable, but here are the rank 30 path augments I don't recognize (after alabaster/murky ones) that appear if you edit extdata in memory:
Code 0x01D8: Acc/Racc/MAcc+30, DA+7%, PDL+6% 0x01D9: Acc/Racc/MAcc+30, DA+8%, PDL+7% 0x01DA: Acc/Racc/MAcc+30, DA+6%, PDL+5% 0x01DB: Acc/Racc/MAcc+30, DA+7%, PDL+6% 0x01DC: Acc/Racc/MAcc+30, DA+6%, PDL+5% 0x01DD: Acc/MAcc+30, STP+7, TA+4%, Pet: Acc/MAcc+30 0x01DE: Acc/MAcc+30, STP+8, TA+5%, Pet: Acc/MAcc+30 0x01DF: Acc/MAcc+30, STP+6, TA+3%, Pet: Acc/MAcc+30 0x01F0: Acc/RAcc/MAcc+30, Enmity-9, QA+5%, Pet: Acc/MAcc+30 I don't see how 5 sets of 5 pieces breaks down into 9 new augment paths, only 7 of which are unique, so I'm posting it here to see if anyone has a better theory. My guess is that I either messed up somehow or they are reusing augments for multiple pieces of gear and capping lower quality gear to lower max rank. Feels weird to reuse augments and also include two dupes, though.
These are guesses: BLM/SMN/SCH/GEO - QA and enmity-? Not sure why they would get racc WAR/BRD/NIN - PDL and DA? RNG/SAM/DRG/COR - QA and Enmity-? At least racc would make sense here and SE loves SAM MNK/THF/BST/PUP/DNC - TA and STP, sorry about the lack of pet racc, PUP WHM/RDM/PLD/DRK/BLU/RUN - ??? It's possible that things in the list are a bit shuffled. For some reason the Odyssey augment paths end with Obstinate Sash instead of Nyame or something. Edit: looking into it a bit more, I think those are it. GL HF I don't know how they map to the sets. When people hit level 1 for the augments and figure out which sets are Acc/RAcc/MAcc vs. Acc/MAcc, we'll be able to figure a lot of it out. if BLM gets QA I will die laughing
