Happens sometimes and they go away when you target them. Not totally sure what triggers it, but it also happens in Mog Gardens.

This used to happen to me back in the day in Whitegate when it was super busy there, but it was like a cascading crap ton of naked dudes all stood in one place, figured out it was people that were in Whitegate before I went into my MH so maybe it's the game not cleaning up players from before you zone? That'd be my best guess but I'm also an idiot.

The mog house is located at 0,0,0. Some zones have a 0,0,0 in their real geometry that's accessible, some don't. Sometimes it's under the floor, sometimes it isn't.

I imagine the person showing up is related to some missing data resulting in their coordinates being empty. This is further supported by the fact they showed up as Hume M 1A with no gear and the new character flag (if you look up those names, they aren't actually new characters nor are they humes). Zeroed race/face/gear would show that model. Zeroed flags would show new character. Would be interesting to see a packet capture of 0x0Ds when it's happening.

They disappear because the server prioritizes updates on the current target and when you get their real position they're no longer in your mh.

Could it also be user-error with some poorly written or out-dated tool that tries to warp them to 0,0,0 in a zone that also has a Mog House? Or some connection or overlap between Labebe's Mog House and OP's?

Don't think it's likely to be a warp tool, the 0,0,0 coordinates are accessible in real zones so simply being there isn't sufficient to show you in someone else's mog house unless there's a special edge case for *exactly* 0,0,0. Pretty sure it's on SE's end and the person showing up has no idea it's happening.

Every MH, including Jeuno, is still centered at 0,0,0 for that zone.

Like I said, the fact it's a Hume M 1A is a dead giveaway that the data is not populated. If the person showed up as normal there'd be more reason to speculate.

When it was happening to me years ago, it was literally like 40-50 people cycling, I don't think it's foul play at all, it's just some weird *** bug probably related to server lag somewhere
