R17 on the NQs of those feet are @ triple 2%

Guessing it will be 1% every 2 ranks starting at r15, which will track with the 7% final value

This is what I was thinking, but that would put it at 7% at R27. I wonder if the augments were mixed up by slot and it should be 6% TA at R25 for feet? Then phalanx would finish by R30.

How would 7% progression be for legs then though if you think TA goes up only from R15 to R25? I don't think 1% at R15 and 2% at R17 means anything tbh. It can still goes to 6 or 7.

Maybe for legs, the second augment starts at R13 to get the extra level? My original guess was that the 2nd aug would start at r16, similar to the earring, so starting at R15 is a little weird imo. I'm still holding out hope that the second aug is finished by R25, but who really knows.

So odd thing today on Bahamut. The apollyon wave 1 2 3 nms respawned. We took down wave 1, and wave 2 spawned immediately as soon as the bodies disappeared, same for when wave 2 was finished into wave 3. Our second omega is still up at 63%, with 9 days left on the tally. Temenos has had no respawn of these nms. Any other servers experienced this? They rewarded the uniq_data as usual, taken about 4 bars worth from them so far.

While hilarious, I think the bigger issue would be credit getting reset, so you're forced to kill all the NM's again otherwise your next month is *** and you have the base chest.

Holy *** how did SE *** that up so badly?

It did happen. Someone in my linkshell discord said they helped with wave 1 and 2 NMs today and Omega spawned again and killed everyone, etc. Omega had already spawned the day after the update that added the Unique Data bar. I am curious though, was the first Omega actually killed? Maybe it was never killed so the waves reset after some long amount of time (intentionally or unintentionally idk).

Edit: Nevermind, from another discord it was confirmed to have been killed on the 18th. So yeaaaaa randomly restarted lol.

I killed the first omega for this months tally myself. I get the feeling they have botched something with the respawn timers, and the forced spawn after the update hasn't fixed this. Iirc Bahamut was the first server to kill either of the w3 nms on first release, so perhaps other servers can expect similar developments soon. If it all ties together, perhaps the temenos waves will spawn tomorrow morning.

I mean... as long as killing it once upgrades the chest, i'm ALL for them respawning periodically in a month. It allows people who missed out to farm more unique data.

The issue is the unpredictability of it all

What is the respawn timer on the NMs supposed to be? I recall hearing it was a fixed 28 day interval, which if true would mean it would be possible for multiple sets in an update if the timing happens right. Is this accurate? Or is my information just wrong?

In theory, they should all be eligible to respawn at the four week mark, with the second condition being CN open:
All NM's reset on the four week reset
First CN open spawns wave 1
Second CN open spawns wave 2
Third CN open spawns O/U

In practice, who the *** knows what theyre doing.

That lines up with what I heard. The version update schedule is slightly random, and they've done update patches on every day of the week, usually around the 8th to the 12th of the month (a few are notably earlier or later for whatever reason). So most update windows are roughly 30 to 35 days apart with some variance, and if the respawn timer on NMs is a flat 4 weeks from ToD... well that doesn't really line up very neatly at all now does it?

It kind of feels that way doesn't it? I guess sooner or later we'll find out if the nms respawning at a very inconvenient time just before a version update resets progress and invalidates a previous month's kill cycle. I really do hope it doesn't work that way. They'd probably just do an emergency maintenance after the fact and go "Oops our bad. Sorry, that wasn't supposed to happen" but really it should never come to that.

I think last patch would already show how broken the logic on these NM's is.

First we had the first CN's open and nothing spawned until maintenance hit. Now Bahamut's reporting the NM's respawned after killing O/U. Although no other server is reporting it so it could be some kind of glitch or someone throwing packets at the wall and breaking things.

Each server has its own cycle that runs independently of the others, so it's probably something built into the system. I highly doubt anyone is messing with it. The fact that the nms are mannequins and their damage works the way it does; seemingly ignoring defense is already weird. We've never seen a nm system that works like this before.

When interacting with the operator in Apollyon or Temenos you can select 'Treasure Coffer Timing' or something like that and it tells you how many days are left in the current cycle. It seems to line up with Feb. 1st being the start of the next cycle so I am assuming it's the 1st of every month.

Omega is up on Phoenix, but the bits seem to be glitched and stuck on the spawn entrance even though no one is down there at the moment. Anyone else seeing this on other servers? Last month if I recall they would reset back to omega.

It was reported that Asura killed their Ultima and Omega before bahamut this month, our Omega on bahamut was left at 24-26% for almost a week before it was killed (before this respawn thing)

No idea about Odin

Any reason why Tractor would not work in Temenos CN? I coulda sworn it worked last month to tractor people away from Zisurru, now I cant. Its saying "Tractor cannot be cast".

Yeah, was seeing this when it changed into 4 leg mode, bits would all switch to fetter mode, stopping all movement and having them aggro at around 30 yalms, link to all other bits and omega, and spam 25-30 yalm aoe. They remain in this mode and stationary until omega switches back to 2 leg mode, at which point they will gather and reset to omega, so long as there is no one left to aggro.

If there is a bit within 30 yalms of the entry point you are in a very tough spot, but not impossible. Still not 100% on the mode switch trigger on omega, but I was mainly just using Alexander perfect defense on a fully buffed dd, sending them in and then pulling it away from all bits, to try to fight it for long enough that it would change back to 2 leg, and allow safe entry.

Could I ask, is this phoenix servers first Omega this tally, ie, the first omega since the current update was deployed?

Aye, also saw this when we took down ultima, any dead characters were unable to be acted upon, no raises or tractors. Guessing it was spaghetti code at work, couldn't deduce any other reason.

Well they just provided us with the answer to our question about nms respawning before the next update resetting progress…. buncha nincompoops. They found an issue where the server data is “unexpectedly getting cleared” before the version update so they’re gonna send GMs out to whack all the nms for us this month because they would indeed prevent the chests from upgrading.

There’s nothing unexpected about it is there? The systems worked the same way all this time hasn’t it? They just didn’t have the foresight to realize “4 conquest tally length” is not equal to “version update period”. Brilliant.

On the upside, how often do we get to watch gms soloing nms.

I don't believe it's this simple, for bahamut Ultima died days before Omega, but only Omega respawned to my knowledge. If it was a situation of a conquest tally reset, wouldn't both have respawned at the same time?
