*** crafting shields. In order for a ??? to spawn, it's my understanding that a normal enemy would show up as "Impossible to gauge" when you /check it. Does that occur regardless if you're engaged the enemy?

Make NQ > +1 cost 3x/4x/5x the RP or something so it doesn't completely negate the point of making +2 (but again, *** the crafting shields. devaluing +2 crafts is a good thing) It must be a day ending in “y”

If augmenting the new gear works like the accessories, it will require one matter per rank plus an increasing amount of units. That's a lot more time investment to rank up than Dyna augment gear. If upgrading wasn't possible, I'm sure some players would still buy HQ to use un-augmented, but putting matters into one would be considered a waste of resources. You can add and reforge augmentations to your crafted equipment with the Temenos Furnace or Apollyon Furnace.
The process requires purification items and units corresponding to the relevant equipment. Also, the augmentation can be transferred to a different piece of equipment. In order to transfer the augmentation, trade both the original and new pieces of equipment to the Temenos Furnace or Apollyon Furnace after meeting the requirements listed below. Note: The source item will be lost during the transfer process. 1.Both items are the same type of attire and for the same body part. 2.The target item is of higher quality than the source item. 3.3The target item does not already have an augmentation. that's a direct copy from the update notes it's actually a surprisingly good idea to come from SE if it works as I suspect it does Pretty sure the purification items are the race shards, it's going to be race shards + units to upgrade augments similar to matter + units for accessories.
Its going to require race shards specific to that armor type, like galka for the GK set, and they said you can convert race shards at a 2:1 rate for other race shards. Everything else seems to be crafting mats related to making the crafted base equipment. Race shards are pay to win. You only get the shard for your race, and the trade conversion isn't 1:1. Players who can consistently pay to rotate their race depending on what shard they want are at an advantage compared to those who cannot. This is unacceptable.
Matter is still a limiting factor, since you'll need at least one per item.
Crafting purification items Use the shards, Alabaster Matter, and Murky Matter that can be obtained from the treasure chests and trade them to the Temenos Furnace or Apollyon Furnace. And while I'll be thrilled if augment costs are units only, I'd bet money that you need 20/25/30 matter to fully augment each NQ/HQ/+2 piece. Has anyone purified/augmented these armors yet? I see all the theoretical items (assumed from gobbie box) needed in the AH on bahamut to do at least one, but they are severely price gouged.

We were wondering about kill conditions and tried different things for each ITG we fought. Here's a list of what methods we've used to kill the ITG so far: Physical WS Magic WS Magic damage only (no weapons drawn) Auto-attacks only Magic burst 7-step SC Crit hit Kill within 30 seconds of aggro Killed as the final mob to complete data for the floor Killed as the first mob to collect data for the floor DoT Simultaneously killed the ITG next to a matching mob and job type (killed the ITG Antica RNG and the normal Antica RNG within 1s) We've killed the ITG in all sorts of locations, from floor entrance to exit, in the middle of rooms, and in halls. We've had some respawn (and found) within as little as 5 minutes, and others taking over an hour or two of searching, depending on how many floors we were able to divide and conquer. They can appear as any mob type, as we've seen several beastmen, pixies, arcana, euvhi, etc. We also looked for a second ITG after finding (but not killing) the first, and unless we missed something, it does not seem like more than one can be popped at the same time. SE really needs to come out and say what the trigger is if it goes beyond "kill the mob". The ??? is no longer just a free 3k points every few days, its tied to the new Limbus content.

Pull to elevator before killing? Doggy style botulus gimmick? Kill with DoT - Bio/Helix/Kaustra? Kill with elemental WS of current day? Kill with a light/dark skillchain? Edit: Adding one we tested this morning: have you guys tried a low man kill?

I've been looking at the data from Where Is NM and since I launched the tracker site in October. Obviously the data is only for those that has been using the windower addon that submits the data to the site so the number is probably guaranteed to be bigger.

Found All servers Temenos: 34 Apollyon: 183 Total: 217 Apollyon has been more popular but I'd imagine it has more to do with people wanting to rank up their Murky Ring rather than hunting for the ??? prior to the December 2025 update. Some stats is available publicly on https://whereisnm.com/stats When I get time, I'll probably expose the data for NM and ??? sightings. i think Apollyon's ??? has no additional condition to spawning other than kill the ITG mob. OR the condition is so easy to hit that it is easily cleared.
At least on Ragnarok we have more farming chests in Temenos than Apollyon, yet Apollyon ??? is always up while Temenos ??? is never up. For Apollyon CN, how did you kill them? Asking for lower population server.
So far, can land bind for 3-4 min, can’t gravity, Cant break. How did you separate them? Can a pup (2?!?) tank the adds? Is it just 3 fully buff shadow tank? Will be difficult to log 3 fully buff party for smaller server. Thank you |
