I thought I remember there being one. After some googling people are saying F11 should do something like that, but it's not working. Possibly because another addon or plugin overwrote the keybinding.

The default windower init.txt bound f11 to toggle the "game_forceambientlight" setting.

"//game_forceambientlight 1" will turn this setting on

//game_forceambientlight 0 does work making the characters/monsters more visible ignoring the ambient light but the environment still seems extremely dark.



This is with the gamma adjustment in windower almost at max. Perhaps there's some other graphical option that's the problem.

It's also not always. It seems to flucuate. I can see the floors/paths perfectly fine now in this same area.
