Help - Send Addon Basics...

I have the send addon on two different accounts, on two different computers, same home network.
(I'm assuming that you CANNOT multibox from a single account, as you have to logout of one character to log into another - or is that not correct?)

I haven't gotten any commands to work, and I haven't found answers to simple questions yet from searching online.

My questions are:
1. Is the addon broken?
2. Do the two characters need to be in a party for send to work?
It isn't working either way right now, but for future reference...
3. These are the exact commands, and exact syntax, that I've tried to use:
//send Mulename /wave
//send Mulename input /wave
//send Mulename /ta Mainchar (with and without input)
//send Mulename /follow Mainchar (with and without input)

Obviously, just beginning to try and use this. Doesn't seem like it should be this hard. Thanks in advance!

Send is for sending commands to multiple characters on same PC, not other PCs.

It only works if both characters are online at the same time and on the same PC. Both characters need the addon loaded.

//send name /heal

or

//send @others /heal

or if from macro or whatever /console send name /heal

I believe Ashita's send addon lets you send over a local network.

While a version of send that would work across multiple PCs is in development, currently Send only works on multiple instance all running on the same computer, by design.

Servo (a plugin from Ashita3) has potential for cross network communication over IPv4(LAN or WAN), though you have to know an IP address to connect to it.

Multisend, which is load and go like send, is available on v3 and v4 and only works on the same PC.

Servo was not ported to v4, because we haven't seen any meaningful demand for it.
