Why Do No Females Play This Game?

ffxiv has more than 50% female player base but ffxi has less than 1% why is that

before twitch was a thing, i think on justin.tv there was a female who was playing ffxi and masturbating on cam and it was really dark so couldn't really see her face but i was on the same server and gave her some gil and then after she was done the lights turned on and she looked like a dude, that was an odd experience.

There are women who play who are very cautious about identifying their gender because there are some seriously sick creepers that still play the game. I know of one in particular who really tempted me to quit the game altogether. I'm sure these crazy incel types exist in all MMOs but this is the only one I really play.

If you ever played an mmorpg with a lot of women, you will quickly lean that it's not a good thing at all.

People unironically pay a sub just to dance in "nightclubs" all night, every night. It's a legit thing, many of the people playing barely even do the content. Many people went over from Second Life to ff14, and if you seen the videos of that you'll know how funny that is.

Most of the people playing ff11 (and wow for that matter) and grinding gear and doing stuff have no idea how weird ff14 community is.

It's kind of accurately, FFXI. I can see BLUs casting magic missile, attacking the darkness and others talking about how they have a +1 weapon that does extra damage to Opo-opo.

Women on 11 are quality over quantity!

That's what a lot of my friends have said. The amount of weird-*** or creepy things people say to women online is disturbing.

Honestly most gamers are just weird, we all are. I went to like two conventions and you will see some of the strangest people ever. I saw one with dandruff all over his black shirt, sitting infront of me. It was so gross, but then another time I saw two guys and I'll never forget, they were twins. They were both the exact same weight, which was very large. I was like... what in the world, they are twins they must sit down and eat the exact same foods or something to be the exact same weight.

A lot of the "grils" I've met have been kinda weird too. Just a gamer thing. One thing I do notice though, is that as FFXI had gotten lower in population, there are a lot of extreme weirdos that stuck around or creeps. I think they are in every MMO, but because of our particular situation they are def more prominent here.

I have met a lot of really cool ones though, and actually a lot of people have changed over the years and are completely different now. You could probably write a whole book on it, and it would explain that dance party video...
