Ody25 Subs

Hi all,

Our group does Ody25 bosses Fridays from 1PM EST to 4PM EST. While we have 6 regular members, it is pretty common for us to be 5/6. I'm looking for one or two people that play around that time to serve as subs if we need one.

One of our members may be moving to a different time zone a few months from now, so we will likely be adopting someone on a more permanent basis if we find a good fit.

Our current primary target is Bumba25. We've gotten him down to 19% in about 4 total attempts but scheduling has been rough lately so trying to go more regularly every Friday. It is possible we may start adding a shorter session around the same time Tues-Thurs, but those sessions will likely only be one attempt.

We also have Arebati and Mboze left to do but not all of our members need those clears (a few of us are done with T3). If someone ends up being a good fit, some of our members that do have these clears may be happy to sub you in for them to be a part of the clear group.

In any case, if you have jobs that are useful for these fights and would like me to reach out when we need a sub, just let me know and we can chat in game.

Requirements:
-Discord, as we use this to communicate (at least for listening in, but mic preferred)
-Positive attitude / won't get offended by suggestions for improvement
-A willingness to read up on fights and understand your job's role
-Endgame geared for the relevant jobs and some experience on V25 fights

What 2 jobs would you want for Mboze/Arebati/Bumba 2KI?

It really depends on who can't make the event. Our group has pretty good job flexibility, so a substitute would likely get put in on something that isn't too difficult mechanically (like GEO for Bumba KI2, etc.) at least until we gain confidence in the person.

For Bumba we have been doing:
KI1: WHM WAR BRD DRG MNK BST
KI2: SCH GEO COR RDM RUN BLU

(for KI1 we have also been talking about the SMN setup but all our attempts thus far have been the BST one).

KI2: PLD RUN RNG COR BRD GEO

We have yet to attempt Mboze (although two of us have the clear), but we'd likely do the standard TP deny strats with DRK KI1, other melee TPing on adds and dumping TP on Mboze for KI2.
