All Jobs Damage Simulator and Gear Sets
Are you referring to the level ~85 AM3s? I don't think we need to address that. Anyone using a level 85 weapon doesn't really need to be hyper-optimizing their gear, IMO.
Nah, I'm referring to the triple/double attack AM (95+?) The page lists it as 20% triple, 40% double exclusive proc chances.
However, the parses all showed a 20TA/40DA/40SA distribution, which means it'd either be 20% triple, 50% double exclusive or 20% triple / 40% double single step. There is no way to disentangle the TA and DA effect and prove whether there are two rand() calls or only one, so the question becomes what representation is most parsimonious/simplest. I could see it either way and don't care which route gets picked really, but the math implied by the page right now is wrong because it would imply a 20% TA / 32% DA / 40% SA Mythic AM3, and that isn't what we've observed. Edit: I guess the most parsimonious option is just to delete the Mythic AM3 rows from the table. The AM3 text literally says "occasionally attacks 2-3 times" or "occasionally attacks twice" so it's all covered by the "Occasionally Attacks X Times" row. No mythics have both effects, so they can't be disentangled anyway. Edit 2: I adjusted the page to be correct, so now anyone that reads these posts will just be confused. New to the program, maybe im missing something, but i put enemy evasion to 1600 . My acc is coming back with numbers well below that . Is there something im missing to make sure that im hitting this mark?

Im not sure if I understand you, but maybe simply sim cant find a gear to push your accuracy that high if you haven't provided enough accuracy buffs. I haven't quite updated to the newest version but are you able to cod Flash Nova in to the program?
WhaleLord said: » I haven't quite updated to the newest version but are you able to cod Flash Nova in to the program? True. Ill probably lock them as either geo+2/regal or geo+2/malignance. Will have to block tp club and probably lock Bunzi/Daybreak as well for dual wield setups
I don’t think the AF bonus with regal earring is getting accounted for acc wise at least. I was toggling the hands into a WS set and checking my stats and it was only adding the acc from the hands swap and not the extra 15 with regal earring bonus.
What mob or values should I be using to check my sets for
Locus Sortie top Sortie basement Fenrir.Jinxs said: » What mob or values should I be using to check my sets for Locus Sortie top Sortie basement I only started utilizing this tool a short time ago, but I am a believer of just using the cogs. They are the closest thing stat wise you can set for anything that actually matters. Setting them lower is a waste of time imo, the incredibly marginal increase in properly buffed scenarios isn't worth my time to differentiate sets for trash mobs vs NM's in content like sortie. The only time I see value in that is solo with trust buffs as there are major acc deficits to make up on sortie basement. Did this for NIN to have a proper acc set under ***buffs to solo Dhartok. Way more hassle than its worth lol 100x easier to solo on my SCH. Fenrir.Jinxs said: » What mob or values should I be using to check my sets for Locus Sortie top Sortie basement I'd suggest looking at this page. the long_horned twitter link at the top is valuable as well. you can just add them directly to enemies.py Some of the wiki pages (bg or wikia) do have some stats listed (both for regular mobs and NM), I'd say take reasonable guesses based on other info for anything that might be missing. The cogs are way far off from other mobs
Using such may be detrimental to my results While I understand it but not well enough to explain it Doing those calculations against that thing Is going to overcompensate when I go to exp, do too top floor and even some basement Leaving a lot of really good gear behind Fenrir.Jinxs said: » The cogs are way far off from other mobs Using such may be detrimental to my results While I understand it but not well enough to explain it Doing those calculations against that thing Is going to overcompensate when I go to exp, do too top floor and even some basement Leaving a lot of really good gear behind I understand your hesitation but provided you have distract 3, most BiS tp sets will meet or exceed accuracy requirements with standard buffs. The only parameters you really need to decide for yourself is how much DT you are willing to play with. For curiosity I just ran WAR with naegling for an easy example. 40% PDT/50% MDT. Standard buffs, HM/March/Minuet/Minuet, Chaos/Sam rolls, Grape Daifuku. The set for the highest level cogs is the exact same set for the lowest level apex bats under the exact same conditions. This may vary to some minute degree for various jobs but gaining 1/10th of a second faster tp gain typically is resulting in only significant defensive loss and sometimes even acc loss for an incredibly marginal gain in tp generation. For tp sets I can see things staying the same especially with how much accuracy is available now.
It's probably my fault for not saying I was scrutinizing my own weapon skills. I like Sam because it was easier to understand wsd and pdl go brrrr even in WS sets i cant see your accuracy dropping so sharply that it would change much, like said this is assuming with distract 3, as im not sure how you would do basement without it unless you compensate with more madrigals
Well I found that for most things with max cor max brd
Fotia was a safe bet over mnk neck pdl unless it was an apex mob under 135 Bhikku hands MVP Also where do I report that sherida is missing the subtle blow ii stat now that I am playing with tp sets Everyone knows a tp set is not a tp set unless you wear at least one questionable choice of gear.
Stinky feet and all that. Dodik said: » Everyone knows a tp set is not a tp set unless you wear at least one questionable choice of gear. Stinky feet and all that. I need some ryou feet for my victory smite set Gartell / Aita = 1613 evasion
Dhartok / Triboulex = 1581 evasion You should be able to have SV songs for Gartell / Aita (if doing back-to-back). Distract lands easily on Dhartok / Triboulex and a single non-SV madrigal is enough. Other stats I've just landed on using the v25 Arebati stats https://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/58150/arebati-stats/ My in-practice #'s are comparable to the simulation, from eye ball test. When calculating blu to sets I found that even though I had empty unchecked in sub and thib selected it really wanted me to know that I would save 3 seconds by not wearing it.
Looks like the default value is 25 for dual wield but for this job it would be great to have a way to change it 25, 30, 35, 40 I don't recall how much the popular dd set gives but it will really change the results Apologies if I missed this, I scoured through the thread and github, but is there a way to test nuking damage?
I tried a few settings on the simulator to see if I can but I might've done all the wrong things. You just need to run gui_wsdist.py in some app then (easier than making .exe) Ofc choosing spells would be ideal, but that would require to expend UI, add lots of blu spells and make whole logic to check trait points and added stats, so it would be a much more work. 985 create player.py is hard coded to 25
I'll need to check what my dd set has for dw via trait before testing this Also Can't I still use the exe? I added gear to test in a similar way. Ideally we don't need to be able to set the spells in the app just to be able to mod the values accordingly Fenrir.Jinxs said: » 985 create player.py is hard coded to 25 I'll need to check what my dd set has for dw via trait before testing this Also Can't I still use the exe? I added gear to test in a similar way. Ideally we don't need to be able to set the spells in the app just to be able to mod the values accordingly I just did a quick test and it does not appear that it will work, the .exe is precompiled with the code, the gear and enemies files hold data structures which are meant to be read dynamically. if you just install python from python.org (I think you'll want to check the box to add it to your windows path), if I remember correctly windows comes with tkinter, you might need to install a few other modules, but at the windows command (AkA DOS) prompt "python pip install numpy" (might have to do a few others). I think versions 3.6.x through 3.12.x will work, not sure about the newer ones. Then you can just "python gui_wsdist.py" and it will work with the modifications. If that's all too confusing, I can probably just add the option to my fork (although I haven't played with pyinstaller, so I'd need to get that working) I've added it before but to make it easier for updates, would you be able to add Blurred Knife +1 to the equipment list?
I'm I missing a setting to stop this progarm from disabling my offhand ?
