I would guess Malicious Perch has one of the other rings, maybe Shen for the other. Going off the update notes, it's a newer, post SoA fish.

Oh yeah it has, and it drops a Flat Shield. NVM that one then.
Got a second Seabird's from Yawning Catfish, must not be that rare.

Since Bloodblotch drops Venom Dust I'm guessing it has the other crafting ring as well. Going to it for a bit.

Droprate on Riftitems is going to be critical to whether or not it ends up being worthwhile. Even at 1/10 that's potentially better gil than the best fishing targets currently.
I consider it exceptionally unlikely that SE gives a favorable enough drop rate on Rift items to make it really worthwhile.
0/10 on Bloodblotch. I'll go try Shen instead.

I'm not usually! But I'm sure we'll get a better idea of the actual droprates before too long.
35 perch in, no rings. Not a big sample size but they arent mega common anyway.
0/20 on Bloodblotch and 0/3 on Shen (bites were not happening).
Side note: it occurs to me that these debug messages might actually be the min and max length and weight of the fish, which would be good data to capture (if correct). I don't remember the exact values of the fish I caught earlier but the more recent ones did seem to fall within these ranges.

Very nice! Bloodblotch is really stingy even with the dust so it makes sense that the ring is there.
