Speaking of ilvl impact, I have yet to see anybody who claims to have gotten the body. I've seen several Daggers running around, but no bodies. Is that the rarest item of the bunch?

I claimed it just a few posts up from you, but if you're talking about impact, then you're talking about the back, not the body.

They are talking about impact on the body NOT the back, there is no back that lets you cast impact the cloak is a body not a back.

Mail = Body
Cloak (the Impact piece) = also Body

To add to my previous stream of data
10 more kills on E with TH4 in under 3 mins.
9 Crepuscular drops (Pebble/Ring/Earring), 1 run of no drop.

I know 10 runs is nothing sample wise but at least so far it seems there's not a huge difference between TH4 and TH10+ at least as far as the 3 basic items are concerned.
There could be a huge difference in the drop rate of the 5 rare items of course, but I don't have samples large enough to tell.

Like I said, they tripled chance for slot on VE, E and probably N. Maybe also tripled chance for 2nd item at D and VD. It's easy to see really, because chance for slot on E is way higher than in other HTBF.

They most likely haven't touched distribution of items within slot tho. It's still some abysmal % for gear and very high % for accessories.

TH wont affect getting Armor/Weapons in the slot. Same as it can't increase chance for getting Defending Ring. It can only increase the chance for slot to appear.

On VD, my guess is that they just knocked the 2nd drop slot's rarity tier from common to very common.

I just unlocked this fight and am unsure why people are complaining about the drop rate. On Normal with TH2 17 kills in. 2 pebble 1 ring 2 earring. I'm thinking weapon will drop by kill 30-40 which is fine with me. What I don't like about this fight is that when I go to do it it says this battlefield is not ready yet. What determines when it is ready? How many people are allowed to enter? I have had to wait 20-25 minutes before and that is a huge downer considering 30 merits is already a steep entry. If I am waiting to enter the battlefield and another player walks into the room will I get priority to join the next open zone or he could beat me to it? Do I have to spam click ?

No one is complaining about the drop rate of the accessories lol

Well, not THAT way, they're complaining the drop rate of accessories is too high. and the armors are .01%

Correction; .02% because they raised it!

Dude, Shinryu gives you the earring, ring, and pebble just for showing up. Nobody gives a damn about the drop rate for that. Let us know at run 500 how many non-accessories you've gotten. I will wait here for your retraction.

You have something around 20% for slot to appear on VE and up to 100% for one slot on VD and probably 40%(?) for another slot on VD (more with TH).

Withing this slots you have like (guessing).
32.2% for ring
32.2% for earring
32.2% for pebble
0.66% for Mail
0.66% for Helm
0.66% for Cloak
0.66% for Knife
0.66% for Scythe

You might not see anything but Pebble, Ring and Earring not only with 30-40 kills, but even with 200+ kills and if you want something specfic, you might not see it in 1000 kills too

Also there are 3 instances and whoever is first to click he/she enters, so good luck :)

I'm like 95% sure that the drop rates on the non-accessories are lower than 0.66% each; that'd mean on average you'd get your first non-accessory in 30 drop slots or so (so like 20 runs on VD, maybe 30-50 on N). I'd estimate them to be somewhere around 0.1% each.

Small update.
I did 10 more "E" runs on MNK with TH4.
Now supposing that packet loss/lag didn't *** up my attempts to apply TH4 on Shinryu, I think the chance for the slot to appear is slower on MNK (TH4) vs my THF (TH10+).

The sample is pretty small so it's hard to tell, but so far the chance for the slot to appear is >80% on THF and somewhere close to 60% on MNK.

Again, big disclaimer, sample is incredibly small so we can't rule out anything.

It's really not surprising that TH10 yields some amount of higher drop rate than TH4

That's literally 60% TH4 and 80% TH10(+)

Well I didn't want to take that for granted and, as I said before, my sample number of fights is still very low.
But still yeah, numbers seem to be somewhat around that.

Presently at 514 kills on VD with no Cloak or Dagger (5 Scythes, 2 Helms, 2 Mails). Have gone as long as 103 fights between non-accessory drops. That's why people are complaining about the drop rate.

Those numbers doesn't matter at all.
What's so hard to understand, that IT IS A % INSIDE THE SHARED SLOT.

TH only affect SLOT to appear. It doesn't work for % of distribution inside that slot. TH doesn't do anything for this super low % of distribution for Armor/Weapons. It can only help you get Slot to appear at VE-N and 2nd slot to appear on VD and I don't know how it is on D actually. Does D have 2nd slot chance? Is first slot 100% on D?

Yeah I'm with Simon on this.
But still, it does affect the slot appear chance, so TH has some use for people who are doing VE or E I suppose?

The first slot is not guaranteed on D but I don't have any recollection regarding double drops.

TH matters but none of the drop slots are "Ultra Rare" so the numbers are very misleading on that chart.

It's their own chart, disagree if you want, it's their own ***.

And arguing about semantics won't raise your drop percentages so save the effort.

Yep it matters for VE-N and probably for D (tho its probably like 95% chance on D and TH can only push it to 99.9%?) and for 2nd slot on VD. That's why I haven't commented on that first chart that shows "Very Common" rate, because that probably might be accurate for slot chance on E or VE.

Its very possible its Ultra Rare distribution inside the slot for non accessories, but TH wont affect this distribution, so that chart is misleading and useless for Shinryu.

The distributions within slots often don't follow the TH categories, so they're not very useful when talking about those types of chances.

It's not semantics; you're misapplying the mechanic. TH only increases the chance of a drop slot to open, none of which fall in the "Ultra Rare" category, and has no impact on the distribution within that drop slot.

In fact, it doesn't make sense to label the non-accessories as "Ultra Rare" because that terminology only applies within the context of Treasure Hunter... which doesn't affect the appearance of non-accessories if a drop slot is open. I mean, you can certainly label them "ultra rare" based on their % chance to appear, but NOW we're merely talking semantics.

Players can only perceive that additional TH forces the appearance of an additional drop slot. No player can conclude or assert definitively, that TH does not also increase the occurrence of an item in that slot. (In fact, SE has given us this TH table to strongly support that TH does in fact do this, despite that a player can not observe its outcome in a deterministic way, sample sizes being what they are).
