Gotta go fast, this Ambuscade's rotating next week and wow is it ever good. Got everything I've got to 30 and taking some stuff beyond and it's gonna be like night and day compared to the chain exp campaign that won't ever kick in.

Yeah, the chain campaign just really sucks. I'm on monster #51 though, so at some point another double xp campaign should roll around and I can finish up.

Doesn't the base exp get doubled during the "chain exp campaign" anyway even at chain 0 very first mob? It doesn't say that on the wiki or event description but I've always used that for spamming Easy Prey mobs in Bubur for Monstrosity unless my memory is wrong?

You're probably right, I wasn't reading into it very well. I'm just salty I never chain though since I too am spamming EP's for XPs. Wish they slapped the plus on it for the extra dedication though.

I'm sure this no longer applies to you but I finished Grauberg recently and as mentioned, by far the best way is to leave a multi-boxed thf at wyverns and spam the wing quest. I also did a rotation of the goblin item quest, the egg quest, the wyvern wing quest since they're roughly in the same area. I'd hit up any harvesting points I saw as well for the chocobo quest. The Teekesselchen quest wasn't too bad to add into the rotation since you have to go there to complete the egg quest anyway.

Anyway Grauberg is a silly place designed by jerks and I'm convinced something's wrong with the fame in that zone.

Oh if it does double base EXP that'll be lit, complaint retracted! I thought that was the other campaign they didn't run anymore. Was misled by the wiki page:

Yeah! And yes I did get it done with wyvern wings nonstop but sheesh, it's excessive.

So this happened a lot sooner than expected. I also thought it would actually show up in the chatlog but if it did I couldn't find it. I believe it occurred while I was doing Monstrosity, just leveling Eft from 50 to 60 and Rabbit to 30. I have three 99's already.

I'm missing a ton of titles including a lot of easy ones from quests (see spoiler). I haven't read every post but I think 926 titles might be the lowest amount I've seen (I'm counting 1098 total titles and I'm missing 172). No doubt missing a ton of quests since I haven't even started tracking them seriously. I think high playtime might've played a role. Don't turn off your pc when you go to bed, kids. I also did a lot of the content when it was relevant so there wasn't much I missed. Some of my standout titles are Venerated Adventurer (Vana'bout), Sandworm (thanks for the maintenance tips Byrth), Yilbegan (did this when it was relevant), Maze Overlord (we got a good head start spamming marbles doing level 1 mazes before they patched it).

Let me know if there's anything information I can provide that might be useful to others. Big thanks to everyone who's contributed to this thread, I especially appreciated the Abyssea, Monstrosity, and Chocobo information. I hope a real Ballista fanatic comes along someday to lay down the info.

also lol at you having Yilbegan Hideflayer and not Zeruhn Sweeper which is literally "turn in 3 zeruhn soot to a npc" (there's always one on a list that is the "funniest" one)

Did you unlock a species in that session? Tiger is Rabbit level 30 I think, so it might literally be "species unlocked" then? Or "mementos possessed", obviously, since you also got Eft II.

Yeah when you are completing titles in alphabetical order... To answer the second question, yes I unlocked Tiger that session. Although I also unlocked and played as the Onyx Rabbit otw to Rabbit 30. Definitely need to be doing some Monstrosity along the way, although I feel like I've barely scratched the surface of it.

Also prior to that monstrosity session, I did do 500 JP on THF (to about 1000/2100 JP) with the JP still unspent as well as a chocobo digging session with no level up. I'm usually pretty good about doing a quick Mastery check every so often so it's most likely the Monstrosity triggered the level up.
