XIVCrossbar - A Gamepad Macro Addon
Getting the same issue with crossbar, spams/duplicates commands on input as well. Sometimes up to 7 or 8 times. Doesn't appear to load the AHK script either, face buttons don't register.
This is the exact same issue I'm having with it also : o
The update seems to have made it where you have to use //lua u/l "xiv crossbar" now.
I went into the xivcrossbar.lua file and changed addon.name to "xivcrossbar", as well as removed it from my init list leading me to manually load it now. It's a workaround for now. Thank you so much!!!!! Problem fixed!!!
Interesting, thanks for sharing!
Looks like it's probably the changes made to addon/libs/resources.lua? Very minor adjustment, but unsure if reverting will break anything else. Gonna play around with it a little. Edit: update reverted? The windower update was reverted by that change remained. I just went into the Lua and edited the name myself heh.
Side question, anyone been working on easy menu making? This is likely not what you were meaning, and this is in no way a substitute or even similar to XIVCrossbar, but you asked about menus, so: Taskbar

How can I shrink the UI size of the addon, esp the menu for mapping things. If I alter winodwer's UI size, I can only use the mapping menus if I shrink the games UI to an unreadable size. When the games UI is at a functional size, the mapping menu is above the top border of the screen and the game crashes if I navigate into it. Ive been messing around with different resolution/UI combos and thse two things seems to be the case with each adjustment.
Also can I change the buttons that start the mapping and cross bar list. Ive been using those to alt tab between characters and that would be hard to unlearn at thisn point. Thanks in advance! Hmm, the best you could probably do in the settings xml is change the spacing to make it appear smaller. As far as I understand it you can't change the actual scale as a whole without going into the LUA files of the addon itself. As far the menu selection; same story.
Do you mean changing the button layout? Sorry I'm having a bit of a hard time understanding. Currently you can do this by making a new action bar, but you need to rid it up in the actual character job-job.xml files. For instance with the addon as it is I press the button to open the bars menu list, then i go to "add", and name it to like.. Weaponskills. Then in the xml I have to go to section i want to go the button, and add it manually like this <hotbar_2> (right trigger button) <slot_7> (RT+B combo) <type>ex</type> <action>xb bar WSlist</action> <target>target</target> <alias>WeaponSkills</alias> </slot_7> I was hoping to one day see an in-addon function to make it a bit less tedious. Like you use back/select to begin binding/maping and "start/pause " to change to different bar layouts. I reWASD those buttons to be alt + tab, and I was hoping to keep it that way but the addon is cool enough I may have to reWASD a different pair of buttons. Bummer about the hud size. I suspect I'm having user error issues elsewhere thats really behind it |
