1. Definitely would never take my kids to a chicken pox party- they're about the most insulting thing I ever heard of once I had kids.
2. In my book, the chicken pox vaccine is a total waste as it does not provide protection later in life as Shingles- get that when you hit 50 as you said, because I've seen my Aunt have to go thru Shingles and it was worse than seeing her deal with Breast Cancer.

Sorry about your aunt, the newer shingles vaccine was only approved in 2017.

That is an argument that conservatives have been making since the 80s.
I mean, there is benefits for funding school lunches, don't get me wrong. But honestly, schools are not government run or sponsored babysitters, which is what some parents are treating them as.

Clarify your statement. In my head, there is a stark difference between burning down something belonging to the person who is supposedly causing you grief (e.g. a police station) and setting fire to a local business whose only crime was being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Sure, both are against the law and I don't condone either, but the latter is an unfair and unnecessary show of force being dealt to an innocent victim, which is very thing that the protesters are supposed to be fighting against. There is nothing "right" about that.
