On another note, the panic is causing some legislators to reconsider the single-use plastic bag ban, as people are not washing their reusable bags and they’re accumulating (and spreading) dangerous bacteria. I don’t think it will change any laws already in place, but it could slow the implementation in other areas.
Markets are crashing so Trump delayed his coronavirus briefing until 3:30 again so he can try to pump them up with facts I don't like.
Also, it looks like its going to a crazy week in the Senate since McConnell failed to take care of the FISA extension last week, so they are bogged down by parliamentary rules that could be theoretically accelerated if they have unanimous consent, which means it just takes one wacko Republican like Rand Paul or Tom Cotton to slow everything down. The snafu even requires the House to re-vote on the coronavirus bill, which again, could be easy if they get unanimous consent, but considering 40 Republicans voted no to the aid, its going to be a circus. Help probably isn't coming until next week.

Its not spin, but I'm sure you would like to believe its a coincidence that Trump timed his press conference 30 mins before the market closes, announced an aggressive plan to turn the corner on the virus in a mere 15 days (despite the CDC saying no groups for 8 weeks) that seems specifically designed to once again pump up the stock markets, only to derail his own efforts minutes later. Surely, a coincidence.
Yea this is 10 times worse than the Great Depression. Expect massive deaths probably 4 billion people are going to die in the next 15 days.
