Controller Not Being Recognized

I want to start out by saying I have read many of the post that talk about this issue. I believe the issue actually has a lot to do with the controller I am using, but would like someone who has a bit more knowledge on it to tell me if I am correct.

When I plug the controller in, and the drivers install, the controller shows up as an xbox360 controller https://imgur.com/wbp1Kb7

I am on a Windows 10 PC. The controller works. I use it for Steam games, Witcher 3 on GOG, Division 2 on Uplay, etc. It's not that the controller is trash, it works as well as any Logitech controller I have owned.

I have tried installing the Xbox360 64bit Windows 7 drivers. The controller still will not work when I go into the FFXI PadConfig.

Any help will be appreciated.

If it shows up as an X360 controller, make sure that you check "Enable XInput" in the gamepad configuration in the FFXI config tool. You'll probably also want to start with the last preset, also labeled XInput I think.
