The Last Dance III: A Dancer's Guide *New*
Yes, because nothing says "team play" like the Sam going everybody *** off while I "solo" this.

Been toying around with puzzle piecing some gearsets together for my DNC so I know what priorities to set as I progress with her. I think this should be pretty solid for TP. The Nyame pieces in this set would all be Path A since DNC already has reliable WS damage options on those slots through JSE gear, and the cape would be augmented with +10% Double Attack.
ItemSet 400702 Haste and DT are capped, it keeps Subtle Blow up to +65/75, at least. It has a pretty solid amount of Store TP, as well. And has 30% Double Attack rate and 19% Triple Attack. So with Saber Dance up I would start at 80% Double Attack rate and degrade down to a minimum for 50% over time. I've got a lot of work to do though..... Now this is all theoretical, but I just noticed relic body +4 had -6% PDT and +4% Triple Attack. If the +5 version went up to at least -9% PDT and Triple Attack +6%, that would drop the set Store TP down to +70, but raise the Triple Attack to +25% and still keep the DT capped. I can't wait to see the stats on the +5 gear. What +5. Afaik there is no +5 in plans for now?
What's more is the didn't bother increasing the value of unique stats from +3->+4, so there's no reason to believe stats like PDT or Triple Attack would increase either. +4 was just a bump to make JSE1/2 more tanky and relevant as compared to Empyrean +3, with higher eva/meva/mdb/acc/att and some minor attribute increase. If they follow this trend (and +5 is ever announced, it has not been), it might just be another jump in base stats and not the unique ones.

Like the WS Damage of the Horos Tights +3 went from 10% to 12 % with the +4 upgrade. We we already know they are far from finish with Limbus updates yet, they already said as much. And if you read my post, I started the line with the message that "This is all theoretical". I'm not allowed to be independently curious now? SimonSes said: » What +5. Afaik there is no +5 in plans for now? I mean, I won't certainly rule the possibility out but the fact we got absolutely no sign at all makes me think it's not really guaranteed we're ever gonna get +5. If we do, I doubt it's gonna be a huge upgrade but an interesting side-grade. A small boost to SOME of the stats that were untouched by the +4 upgrade, but no change for all of those stats which were affected by the +4 version. I'm absolutely positive on the fact we're getting at least 2 new sets from Omega and Ultima, with the models of the original sets. Stats wise they'll try to be original I guess, hopefully something nice. K123 said: » How can you say there is absolutely no sign when some pieces accidentally released as +5? Especially because it was just in the english client, not the jp one, and 5 is a number close to 4 on the keyboard, pretty close to press a wrong button when typing stuff. I wouldn't read too much into it. Granted that, again, I'm not ruling out entirely the possibility of a +5 coming, I just don't see that as a meaningful way that let their secret slip out to us accidentally. You're not considering we're getting Ultima and Omega likely before the end of the year, and very likely other long term purposes for Matters as well.
Wether all of that will be worth it or not, we'll have time to judge when it gets released of course. SE is on record saying "new armor" is coming. Probably Ultima/Omega sets, yes. Upgrading existing armor to ilvl is right out of their playbook.
But it could just as well be +5s with drops from Omega/Ultima to upgrade them. I'm still a fan of the theory that +5s will just take a ton of Apollyon/Temenos points, like >50k.
If they add a fifth version of U/O, it could just drop something else (maybe a fifth version of Homam/Nashira). For those counting at home: Mission U/O, HTBF U/O, Original Limbus U/O, HQ Limbus U/O Homam, Murzim, Enif, Ayanmo Nashira, Shedir, Adhara, Tali'ah Dodik said: » But it could just as well be +5s with drops from Omega/Ultima to upgrade them. It could be both, I really really doubt that new armors sets (with the model of the old ones) from Ultima and Omega are NOT coming. I could bet on them coming. But it could be that AND other things as well, why not? Asura.Sechs said: » But it could be that AND other things as well, why not? Not at the same time. No way they'd do that. They literally said new armor is coming at the last Aman live, when they announced the new Lilith drop.

I was solo CP'ing down in KRT, and man. It's nice, but man, that 1:30 recast on Climactic is killer. I get so much CP I end up waiting so long on that damned recast.
I feel like I get more effect out of my SC's with Building Flourish and Striking/Ternary. Ternary is nice since it forces 8 hits on Evisceration. But the difference between Striking and Ternary seems to be minimal if you have a good amount of multi strike as you only need 1 natural double strike to proc to make Evisceration 8 hits with Striking. With the 10 second recast on Building Flourish I feel like "I'm getting my money's worth" out of the 5/5 Building Flourish I put into my merit 1 category, that paired with the 20/20 Flourish II on the job point list makes Building Flourish a better pair for Rudra's Storm most of the time than Climactic Flourish. It's just way too "expensive" recast-wise on stuff where you are going non-stop. Keep in mind one Climactic should boost like 2-3 Rudras and 3-4 melee hits, not just one Rudra.
SimonSes said: » Keep in mind one Climactic should boost like 2-3 Rudras and 3-4 melee hits, not just one Rudra. Wait, flourishes aren’t “one and done” like Sneak Attack and Trick Attack? Most are, clim is FM # of crits(max of 5) that occurs once a round, so for 5 rounds your 1st hit is a boosted crit.
Its as busted as it sounds. Tbh it probably should be only once to line up with the rest of the flourishes but then you couldnt have anywhere from 2-4 clim rudras to pop out making SA/TA look like a joke in comparison |
