Oh we are doing fine over here, the talking point has failed. "No quid pro" is not exoneration. Trump pressured Ukraine to investigate Biden. Thats wrong. Even if he never asked for anything in return, Trump is still in the wrong. But I get it, anything to avoid the story of the day.
Yeah, the story of the day is all it is. How many "bombshell" reports on Trump have had any lasting effect whatsoever? Tell us, Vic, what do you actually think will come of this?
It depends on whether or not that aid money was involved. Trump released his version of the story today and it proves him guilty. Really, that was the best thing Trump could come up with, and it still implicates him. We will see what the whistleblower report says.

"Story of the day" back when it actually meant something
All these "bombshell" stories whether true or not and mostly untrue is just the way the media has been playing this pre- and post-election. Say it enough and it becomes true. Or in this case, people simply believe it. It reinforces their opinion, so therefore its true The social construct.

Uh, yeah. When he releases a thrown together transcript that explicitly states him asking Ukraine to investigate a political opponent, that pretty much hands his opponents a free win. There is a reason GOP senators are so quiet, wondering why Trump released that transcript. Worst case scenario for the Dems is they get to use this all the way until the election. It was that stupid for Trump. Its not "facts I don't like" lol. Its not "backfiring" on Pelosi. She got exactly what she wanted.

Now the whistleblower has agreed to testify, this really is the fastest scandal ever. The smear campaign against this person has been amusing. Oh, their lawyer donated to this person, represented these people. Means nothing.

If the transcript has been falsified then many people would know it.
Does everyone here also realize that by claiming trump is lying they are also claiming Ukraine is lying.

Is Mike Pence better than Donald Trump? I was american I would be absolutely scared of Pence and whatever 18th century policy he might want to bring.
Anyway, I've been following this thing very carefully the past couple of days since literally nothing is happening in my country lol...the call transcript was kinda the wrong focus but media are easily distracted as you know, the whistleblower complaint was always the main thing and now even some republicans that have seen it have come out calling it very "troubling". If that doesn't sound serious to you, Idk. Either way it is probably going public tomorrow.

It's weaponized TDS.
The fact that the democrat paid to "leak" the story was neither present on the call nor had actually read the transcripts of the call. Basically they "heard" that something was said and decided to help the Democrats defeat President Trump in 2020.
This is what is meant by "deep state". It's not some conspiracy lizard men type stuff but the fact that the Democrats control most of the federal positions in the DC area. Not being a Democrat makes it very hard to get employed by the US Government anywhere near DC due to the how corrupt the bureaucracy is here.
