There is a part on that document that you sign, that basically says everything is correct and lying is a felony. Fair nuff he MAY not have been lying. But after it failed, 5 years ago, they SHOULD have looked into it then. We have local police, and two federal agencies that can look into this. Why don't they?

No, I don't need a link of that. I know lying on a background check is a felony. Based on the very limited information we have, which is a tweet from the Governor and a statement from an unnamed law enforcement official, there is no evidence he lied on his forms, he failed for other reasons that aren't criminal. According to the official, it was for "mental health reasons." So my question is, how does that work exactly? How do you fail a background check for "mental health reasons?"
