are you aware people cant 100% guarantee they will get hq3 i know people that have max crafting skill and only been able to make 1 in 100 synths.

it was a estimate it was more to say they aren't easy other wise they would be more than one or 2 on the AH at one time

There would be more than 1 on the AH at any given time if they were worth making. IE: only rostam.

It has nothing to do (directly) with success rate, it's just not worth even trying. (*)kinda misleading, if the success rate were higher it would be more worthwhile to try but still not worth the price tag

It's way more than that.

It's like 11% chance for HQ, then unknown % chance of that hq being HQ2 (There is no HQ3 for su3-5 weapons btw). It's probably around 3-4% and I think it has much higher chance of losing materials on break, but a lot is still saved by shield/ionis/etc.

Ofc that's with Escutcheon, but I hope none is seriously trying to make profit of making those weapons without Escutcheon.

don't you need the escutcheon to even attempt to craft it?

Roughwind and Limpbiz are both shield-crafters and very very nice people.
Not 100% Limp has the Gold, might be wrong, but completely sure on Roughwind. He's such an honest, nice player. Send him a polite tell!

I don’t have mnk su5 atm. There’s actually quite a few ppl msging for them. But atm I setting on a dead AH with nothing moving so at the time I wouldn’t want to try without a bigger bankroll. But once stuff does, I will be trying for them.
They just weren’t ever a hot item until update so they’re pretty rare to find.
