Just to add my late two cents
I enjoyed Captain Marvel. I liked the plot. I would change two things, Lead Actress was meh. She seemed bland. Also I wish they would have gone into her past more, not the way they did. Like expand more into the way they did. The lil snippets of her past, making her super amazing woman, could have been expanded more to give more empathy/sympathy.

I'd say that places like RT aren't really useful for "good" or "bad" but instead for the general entertainment quality of a film. Take Commando from the 80's, objectively it's terrible as a movie. ***plot, minimal character development, generally bad acting (most early Arnold films were), but it's hilariously fun to watch. Like your laughing at how obscene it is and afterwards your chucking not only at how "BAD" it was but also at how "FUN" it was. Michael Bay's Transformers films fit into this category, if would just cut out all the stupid human dialog.
We can have bad films are that genuinely entertaining and don't leave us feeling like we've wasted our money to be preached to about being woke.
