I'm sorry for my odd questions, i havn't played in over a year.
They typically announce new login items days prior to update. Check again in a few days and they should be up. Should have a few days to redeem points still.

Meh, for april all the 1500 points are more or less a good choice.
The pelts historically are worth the most. But right now it's probably silvers. Whichever you choose they're all basically worthless, since everyone will be doing it too.
Pick one at random and sell it 6 months from now.

They always announce before. Usually its a good 5 days it once it was like 16 hours. Either way you could check this ones and see you still have days to turn in points and how much carries over etc
