I'm going to keep doing my Escha for newbies on Mondays still but I have a new HQ Su3 set to buy and such so let's get back to doing some mercing. I don't like that mercing is this entire game these days, but I do consider it a useful service. I just wish more people would try things organically before relying on a merc for everything, but things are the way they are.
Anyway, let's get to pricing. I quit during the last summer before shields finished, Adhemar+1 was 200mil+ a piece, now that stuff is just about 10% of the price. So while I've spoken to some other mercs who claim to charge the same amount, I think that's BS. What I want to buy is significantly cheaper, so why wouldn't mercing be? I know I see shouts for herc bodies for 4-6mil at times, so I know this is becoming a thing in some places, so here's my prices:
Zitah t1 - 500k per drop, I supply pops.
Zitah t2 - 500k per drop, you supply pops
Zitah t3/helm - 1.5mil per drop, you supply pops
Ru'aun t1 - 500k per drop, I supply pops.
Ru'aun t2 - 1.5mil per drop, you supply pops.
Reisen t1 - 1mil per drop, I supply pops
Reisen t2 - *** incursion
Ru'aun and Reisen t3 are basically a no, but if it's truly late night (2am or later EST) and it's not an event night, I can drag people along for the right price, but that'll be up to buyer to name the price and us to accept it. I simply haven't figured out how to dualbox the fights and I'm too lazy to try to figure it out. For Pakecet/Duke drops if you're a SCH or tank I'll kill it for you for ore/+2 drops and no gil cost, but you supply pops.
Schedule of when I'm around:
Mon/Tues/Wed - I'll be around starting 5-6pm, generally.
Thurs-Sun - I'm home midnight or 1am EST. I do Omen and Dynamis semi-regularly, so I will be unavailable if I'm already doing that.
P.S. - As general etiquette I'm not going to invite you for the actual fights, just when the drop is in the pool. Lots of people seem to want to come along for that, but I need my trusts (tank, haste 2, march/cornelia, and a whm). If you're willing to replace any of those roles from a trust you're welcome to be in the fight, though.
