i was getting 60+ an hour in palborough, my crafting mule at the home point crafting non stop and me roaming blu/thf, i was doing the entire floor on a loop (and some mobs on the lower floor) in around 7-8 mins so yea, it goes fast, lots of alt-tab tho lol

Most annoying part of it is the break rate, it puts a 50% slow down on your progression. Out of the 21907 materials dropped, I only obtained 10170 spheres with MH Desynthesis support.
The average T1 : T2 : T3 ratio is about 8 : 2 : 1, so a lot of the spirits crafting are just T1 chains. I was using Coconut Rusk. Anyone got a 6 step for darkness?
Someone get out there and start farming Sphere Cards, report findings.
If they drop from everything varying by zone they're completely worthless, go go go go go. Gates zones. VT mobs (first I found so far are raptors efts and leeches in Moh Gates) Got earth and water cards. De-synth resulted in 1 sphere for all of the crafts I've tried.
I killed 20 VT+ mobs in Woh, zero cards so far
*edit for clarity, this was Woh gates"1" not "2" I am doing it on thf, no clue if TH actually helps or not. Out of 14 crafts I've had 2 breaks. (I know small sample size but still seems like break rates are lower for these)
It seems like only a few mobs in each zone actually drop them. I've not gotten any from the grass hoppers in here. You may try moving around and killing different mobbies
You're in the Gates2 part yeah? for you to have 14 tries already it must be at least 20% drop rate?
I zoned in by Morimar frontier 5. using the beam me up crystal thingy. Leeches dropped water cards, Efts dropped earth cards. raptors and chapulli's Didn't drop any cards. The drop rate didn't feel that high as I had several periods of 0 drops for a few minutes. I was not keeping track of kills however so no concrete data on drop rate. :/
I have no idea if it matters or not but I did grab ionis just incase they did something silly with it :x
Light card from Dullahans in Moh Gates(same area as Onirisu) and Dark Card from Umbrils. Ice cards from Acuex, lightning desynth. Dark NQ = Compression. Guessing HQ1 for Light was Fusion. HQ was Grav for dark. Both are wind desynths.
any idea where thunder cards coming from now?
Rancidclaws in Dho Gates drop Water Cards. Still running through things for science
yea managed get a few light cards, was transfixion path, 1 fire card but gave me light sphere. fire card was from clot in moh gates #2.
So the select mobs are all gates 2 mobs, that's semi fair i guess.
Enough mobs, not apex, not too easy. Actual middle ground. Now, they need to tell us which ones drop which and why instead of arbitrarily doing it this way. stackable to 99 atleast too, so can farm for hrs and not have keep crafting.
Efts/Tarichuks seem to drop earth cards. Went in Woh and got an earth card. Running around more
Please confirm if wearing shield/having ionis is required for a card drop
I'm definitely not wearing the shield, so that's confirmed. Also, Lightning card from Bound Twitherym. Wind Card from Soundsplitter Bats. Wind Cards from Nesting Hippos as well.

Drop for everyone KI not needed, however requiring the KI would really hamper bot armies farming them for the most part.

Leeches = Water That's what I have found so far. So it seems to be monster family, and nothing to do with zones per say? Unsure, was going to test that in a moment. But, did get Earth Cards from Woh/Moh/Dho efts, and Ice from both Dho and Woh Acuex. Wouldn't be surprised if you could farm lightning cards outside Twitherym. But, all of those are map #2.
Edit* Really looks like Map #2 stuff only. Or maybe inside only. Definitely not outside. |
