Its the character select zone (at the end of the video). The only notable things were the unused train railways and Chocobo Woods off in the distance. I remember seeing that in an old 2006/7 video.

Shits and giggles aside, I really do hope SE does something to keep the Vana'diel universe alive. They have such a vast, grand and even untapped lore and geology they could utilize for some amazing games. Even if it just turns out to be dinky mobile game like Grandmasters, my heart would be satisfied knowing Vana'diel lives on.
