The sad truth of the matter is that none of us, not even the gigolo and the underwear model, make enough money that tax reform would benefit us directly in any perceivable way anyways...

you're already rich enough to afford lawyers to get you out of paying taxes in the first place... or you're too poor for the IRS to bother anyways...for the same reason nobody has ever bothered to mount a goldfish and hang in up in their trophy room wall.

People making a big deal out of nothing has drawn my attention far more than the stories themselves. That's true of almost any topic, but Russia happens to be the one that apparently never dies so here we are again.

Price resigned because he was about to get fired by Trump. Trump has been consistent on his pledge to make Washington accountable to the country so Price, who was busted on abusing his position, was given the old classic ultimatum of "either you walk or I shove you out the door".

Hell, even CNN covered this.

Too bad Dems... Trump was actually doing his job here.

The interesting part is that nobody is denying Russia was trying to swing popular opinion in the USA, hell many countries do that to each other. European countries tried hard to influence UK voters on the Brexit vote via social media. So what exactly are the Dems trying to do here? Tell us something we already know? Trying to blame their loss on "dat Russia"?

In order to implicate Trump they would have to have a link from the Russian government to these social media troll farms, and then a direct communication from Trump to a Russian agent acknowledging and directing this course of action. The probability of that is exactly zero. The best they have is Trumps son met with a Russian lawyer to talk about direct on Hillary and instead got a talk about Russian children being adopted, a talk that he ended after a few minutes.

Think about it, that's the best they got and not only does it not touch President Trump, it doesn't even touch his son. It's the very definition of nothing. While the Clinton foundation got a ***ton of foreign donations that then filtered towards the family in the form of bonus's (they are all employed by the foundation as consultants) and help pay for campaign ads and political leverage. Non-profits like the foundation aren't required to report major donors to the public, only provide limited information to the US government and are largely off the radar of regulation agencies. But hey we're not allowed to look at that, because she's a Democrat and aren't responsible for their actions.

If Trump was actually doing his job he wouldn't have picked Price in first place.

Truth is Price was fired for not getting ACA repealed and replaced. Trump threatened it time and time again. The expenses incurred from living fat on the taxpayers dime is a convenience.

If it was about frivolous use of government money then Secretary Mnchuin would also be on the chopping block.
