FYI: I never said the Dreamers in the military were illegal aliens.

I said they (dreamers) were in the military. You felt you had to be like "oh ***Zerowone, I hate that guy he makes me insecure, posted. "Dreamers" are by definition illegal aliens in the USA. If you hold a legal immigration status then you can not be a "Dreamer".

The "Dream Act" never passed congress, it was never law. Instead President Obama signed a memo ordering the executive to ignore the legal status of illegal immigrants who illegally entered the USA as children.

There are ZERO people in the Military brought in under the DACA. It's illegal for someone to enlist and not have a legal immigration status.

The MAVNI isn't a work around for DACA, it's a program designed to give legal immigration status and thus eligibility for service for those people with rare critical skills, typically in languages. The usual requirement is that the personal already be a legal resident of the USA but exceptions can be made for those recruited from overseas on a case by case basis. President Obama later tried to use executive order to grant a general exemption for DACA beneficiaries. This turned into a ***storm until the whole thing became moot when MAVNI was discontinued in 2016.

Every year the farmworkers in CA hold a "take my job please" event. Hardly anyone ever takes them up on it.

This spring cherry growers in WA offered $11/hour, food, housing, transportation from major cities. They got not near enough people to harvest their cherries. Can't wait to see what happens with apple season.

I have said every problem this nation faces can be directly traced back to the natives' lax immigration policies. I never said they had no problems.

The "goal" is to remove the executive overreach that President Obama did when he didn't get his way. He wrote laws from his desk without congress passing them, it was extremely unconstitutional. The President has large amounts of power regarding enforcement of the borders and national security, most of that power vanishes when dealing with domestic issues.

Congress needs to decide on this issue, either create a path for citizenship or reject it all period. No more of this half *** "not-legal but not entirely-illegal" ***.

Personally I don't mind a path to citizenship opening for these adults who were brought here as children. I also don't want to encourage more parents from south America to run across the border with the hopes of short circuiting the immigration by using their children.

The solution I would go with is give these people a pathway to citizenship. If they are in college already or haven't committed a felony. I have no problem with them being here.

Have zero issues with migrant workers. I actually wish our congress would stop *** around and introduce a fast migrant worker visa program similar to damn near every other first world nation. The VISA should be approved within a handful of months and have strong language stipulating that person can only work for that employer during that time limit and forfeit judiciary benefits if they violate their visa status similar to what the VWP has.

We have a similar program, it is rife with abuses on all sides.

Trump probably knows a lot of these undocumented workers they work at his club in FL. So I don't think he is heartless. He just wants Congress to prove to him they can do something. Besides *** about Democrats.

I think better would be a way to get a LPR status (green card) after they graduate high school, and then a mandatory 10~15 year wait until they can apply for citizenship along with no ability to sponsor anyone other then an Immediate Relative.

A big problem with the USA is the chain immigration system. One family member becomes a citizen and then sponsors their entire family who then sponsors their entire extended family. It results in a mass migration with little incentive to integrate or respect the new countries culture. Immigration should be about taking whats best from other countries and integrating it with America to make American culture better. Democrats want to completely replace American culture with their own pro-socialist one imported from other nations.

UCIS is terrible with scheduling and the gigantic amounts of red tape make anything immigration related takes triple the amount of time it should take. I know this from personal experience as I'm sponsoring someone myself. They still force the "temporary workers" to go through all the regulatory immigration *** that normal workers and students go through, which completely defeats the purpose. Anyone who would actually use the H2A program for farming would into scheduling issues sooner rather then later.

I don't find him to have a superiority complex. He just knows a lot of stuff.

"Kicking the can" implies that they at least have done something, they keep kicking the can on infrastructure with CRs, they have done nothing on immigration. They almost accomplished bipartisan reform in 2013, then the GOP killed it.

I know more then they do, that hurts their feelings and makes them feel oppressed. I also don't give a flying *** about their feelings or perceptions, which is a huge issue to people brought up to believe that muh feelings >> everything else.
