MS Paint Challenge: Week 12

This week's theme is: BEST FFXI NPC EVER.

Have you had a particularly peculiar encounter with one of the plentiful personalities populating Vana'diel?
Did she completely destroy everything in sight when you fought alongside her in Campaign? Does it have a heartbreaking secret that few other adventurers have even bothered with uncovering? Is he the most gorgeous thing you've laid eyes on ever since, well, you? Did I really just type that out loud?

I notice theres alot of really cool female NPCs in this game but I cant name many guy npcs that are just as awesome...the manthra, taru bandage guy...Naji?......uhhhh luzaf...

Shantotto, Prishe, Lilisette (ftw), Naja, General Mihli...even Aphmau is adorable..shtyeah.

I think so too. I think the Campaign General, Venerial somethingface, for Sandy is about the extent of cool guys outside of Luzaf, while there's all the awesome elvF campaign NPCs, plus Curilla. She's just the tops. I tried to encourage Isladar to apply for NPC-status, but no luck. lol

For me, Shamarhaan is up there for story even though he's not like "omg this guy is so cool *droooool*." Ajithaam in Upper Jeuno makes me laugh every time I use him to get to Aht Urhgan Whitegate because his dialogue can sound so wrong if you read it the way I do...

So, um... I like Nomad Moogles a lot.

ahaha, I forgot about Aldo and its not like he had his own expansion or was in the opening movie or anything...for crying out loud...seeeee, silly nonmemorable npcs.

is MS paint a windows only program or is there somewhere where you can download it for mac? c.c

That was done 100% in Paint?

Yes, every last bit. lots of zooming in, nit picking, and using all the tools possible aside from spray can, that tool blows. lol but yeah a lot of time spent. if i can find a way to record what's on the screen, like a fraps for regular explorer, i'll record it one of these weeks and play it at increased speed to show. glad you guys like it :)

You must have a steady hand if you don't use a tablet... You can use Fraps to record it but you need the full version. The crack version only allows 30s clips. :)

Hypercam is free, could try toying around with that.

Are those Askar boots?

You don't need a stedy hand most of it using all straight lines at first, then going in with thicker curved line tool. Not a whole lot of pencil or brush. But yeah, It's all done with a mouse, I don't even know how you'd use anything but freehand with a tablet. I will see what I can do about recording it next week, maybe I'll try Hypercam like Sifridus said.
